toronto trans-friendly bars n clubs

hi,, i've been a closet transgender for years, i'm 20 now and i've wanted to clubs n bars in the village but i'm unable to get dressed at home due to rents n my long going argument,
how friendly is goodhandys to a part-timer who needs to get dressed there
are locker rooms still available? i know its mostly a working girls club

and are there any other bars/clubs that are trans-friendly in the village?
or places tht i can get dressed after i enter?

I believe Goodhandy's still has the lockers maybe check their website for that.
That swing club has lockers too.
If there is bath houses still, they also have lockers.

For the most part most gay bars don't care if someone comes and changes there.
It's just how comfortable you might feel doing it.
I can't think of anything that doesn't go at most gay bars, maybe don't go crossdressing at a leather bar.

You could change in the middle of church st., for that matter, and few would bat an eye.
However anywhere you can change, you could go back and put stuff in your car.
I guess changing or partially transforming in your car could be an option too.

Since you are new at this why not rent a hotel nearby, there is many cheap options and it doesn't have to be fancy.
Then you can dress and go out and get a feel for things.
Once you know some places maybe you can figure out cheaper options to go out.
Don't rule out meeting people that will let you change at their place nearby too.

The entire church street area you can walk around dressed with little fanfare. Really you blend in.
Go for dinner at Esmereldas all the waiters are drag queens and they have fun shows, also a good place to meet like minded people. As I say most gay bars are no problem for a CD, some may not be as desirable as others.
Goodhandys is fine too but as you say is more working types but CDs go there.
Depends what your goal is I guess.

i dont have a car n i've tried the hotel but $$
i'm looking for cheaaaap alternatives that i could do on a regular basis
and i'm not too comfortable with changing in the middle of church st lmao :P
but knowing that gay bars are open to CD opens up many options,
goodhandys i heard had a renovation recently n checked their site but nothing about locker rooms, i guess i got to just go n give it a shot.

Yes, M4 is the club i was thinking of.
I would suppose alot of Gay bars would also be ok with the coat check thing too.
I would be checking websites to see what places have drag nites.
I'm not sure exactly what the bars are these days but most will have a night.
Tango and Crews has a strong Drag scene, i think sundays was once a show night..
Georges moved across the street i hear but they have always been t-friendly and also have show nights.i think. Byzantium always had a few trannies and I think all 3 of those bars have back entrances in the Alley too. I suppose Goodhandy's can't have an entrance in the back due to their situation upstairs.

You may not have a car but they have those community cars now days that are quite affordable.
There is alot of options, but my point was that anywhere on Church st. is going to be pretty open to your situation.
