Its all laughable. Yeah I'll admit it . I found a few ways to avoid paying the fare. one two occasions. The whole subway system in these 2 cities is like a well crafted labyrinth but with very poor security and massice gaps where people could easily ride the trains for the rest of their life for free. I mean......some terminals have just one man working the booth that when it gets busy and I mean really stupid crazy busy with hundreds of people barging to make the subway there is no time to see that everyone paid the fare or have a ticket. Seriously. If a wandering and lost tourist for example ..... is keeping a crowd late and doesnt understand the system I'm sure that a security guard or clerk will show leniency and let them pass "that one time". Am I that lost tourist? No.....but I pretended to be those 2 occasions.
In perspective though. I hate crowds.

Bonus Beauty - JenniferRant's rant: It's been quie a while since I've really gone off on about a movie but I guess this week is as good a time as any. If you looked at the movie trailer provided in this weeks edition you will see it is for a 1965 flick called Village of the Giants. It stars a young Beau Bridges and an adolescent Ron Howard.

Congrats to me for stumping the forum again .
This is most likely one of the most ridiculous movies I have seen in a long time. The story basically goes as this. Some delinquents wander into town and stumble across some goo that a local boy genius has invented. This goo causes things to grow to giant size. Naturally you can guess what happens when the delinquents stumble upon the goo.
This was clearly marketed for the younger movie goer. More specifically teens. It has many sexual innuendos and some blatant shots of cleavage and fit young studs who even at giant size still want to party and have others party as well....OR ELSE. Yes the story is like that of David and Goliath as the boy genius and others try many times and finally defeat the giants and thats pretty much it but what makes this film as stupid as it is so entertaining is that it is a mish mash of genres. At one moment we are supposed to be scared and then we see ourselves laugh and then later on we want to dance and then later on again we feel like we should be angered.
Case in point. There is one scene at the start of the film where upon the discovery of what the goo does the characters get all serious and say how famine could be a thing of the past and that the food shortage will be non existent. Within 2 minutes from that scene we see ducks eating the goo and grow 15 feet, go to a club and.....aaaaaaaaand........dance....surf style........what the fuck. Really , what the fuck.
I still laugh as the same type of switch happens later on when one of the attempts to take one of the giants down consists of a barrage of people who attempt to capture the giants, the scene is comedic but within a few short moments there is a tragedy. Comedy to drama. It makes no sense.
Ladies and gentlemen in my earlier university years I and my friends every Friday had movie nights where we wold introduce each other to bizarre films but the difference was we knew what to expect. Village of the Giants is way off the chart. Whats even funnier is last week at a local department store I saw this movie in a bargain bin for like 2 dollars and figured meh whats 2 dollars it won't be entertaining. Boy was I wrong. For utter stupidity and extremely high entertainment value watch this film if you dare.
Best damned 2 dollars I've spent in a long while.

Rant's rant: So..."Zion" in the Rastafari movement refers to a place of utopia. Zionism itself...loosely translated says to do good for the 'state". Zion was the last bastion of the human race in the Matrix movies and is also referenced in Kevin Smith's film Dogma as a woman who portrays "The Last Zion" ...basically humanitys last hope of being saved from renegade angels.....Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.....it was funny at the time...not so much now.
