  • Google Reverse Image Search

I posted this in another thread but I figured it would be helpful for anyone who may not know about it.
If you're ever suspicious about the pics in an ad, you know the whole "too good to be true" thing,
just plug them into an image search and see if they've been stolen from somewhere else.
Hopefully more people start using this and we'll see less and less girls get away with fake "bait and switch" profiles.

When you're on google, click "Images" at the top and then on the right side of the search bar there's a little Camera Icon.
Click on the Camera and you can either paste the URL of the image or upload the image from your computer,
and it will bring up other places that picture is found on the internet. Makes it pretty easy to spot the fakes.

I could not get it to work

I tried using the URL version "copy & paste" and could not get it to work....(no match) with a couple of the associated URLS to her fake pics.

I don't want to load her photo onto my computer as it is there in the background, hiding and can be found by someone that may not think my hobby is appropriate behaviour

This tool is awesome. For us girls, if we use it on our own photos, it will show locations for that photo. It's a great way to find out if someone is stealing your pics!

So I guess "Sector 7" is the secret area where you figure all this stuff out!!

I just assumed everyone knew this...
This should be a sticky in the "Identify" section.
You are the steps you take.
            You're every move you make.

My dear sir, I'm glad to inform you that you do not have to save the pictures to your computer.

If there is an image you'd like to "reverse google image search" then there are the steps.

                1. Open a new tab.
                2. On this new tab go to google image search.
                3. Go back to the tab where the image you wanna search is.
                4. Drag the image to the google search tab and -without releasing- wait for the it to pop to the foreground. Once it does continue to drag the image into the box.

Note: your search settings will affect search results.
You are the steps you take.
                You're every move you make.
