Not remembering user name and password.

Is anyone else having a problem with user names and passwords not being remembered? I have tried chrome in addition to my normal IE and neither are giving me the option to save user name and password therefore everytime I log on I have to enter them.

So far I am OK with passwords on all sites including TGF - using IE on Windows 8.

I am having a bit of difficulty with TGirl Forum though when trying to post or edit a post. Lately I can't set my usual font or text size but colour does click in.. Is that possibly a TGF problem I have to wonder?

It may be that you cannot see the "Remember Me" checkbox at the top login above the menu bar due to the formatting of the header.
Probably the checkbox is covered by the rotating tgirls.
A couple suggestions.

Logout then click login without filling in your username or password. This will then take you to the full page login wher you can easily check the "Rememer Me" box.
OR
Logout then zoom the page to 150 times or more until it pushes the rotating tgirls down more. This should expose the "Remember Me" checkbox at the top for you to check.

I will try fixing the formatting soon.

Otherwise try going to tgirlforums.com instead of www.tgirlforums.com.

I have no problem in any browser this way.
Some versions of IE freeze when posting.

Zoomed the page and got the remember me box but it would not let me check it. Tried several times. IE on Windows 8, BTW

I had this issue with my iphone. What I did was log out go to post something and then it brings you to a full page where you put in your log in details and you can check the box there to keep you logged in.

Yes option one was what Candyland said, just login with no username or password and it will send you to the full login page. once you do that that you can check the remember me thingy.

Chrome is by far the best browser on the forum.

Thanks Crag, That did the trick. Now if you could find a way to color my font in IE, everything would be perfect.

The check box at the top is now fixed so you can check it in all browsers.

What version of Windows are you using Crag? Everything worked fine for me in Windows 7 and all previous versions. The color problem seems to be with Window 8. I just tried now and it doesn't work. The box with all the colors, sorry colours, appears to the left and when you check the colour you want it indicates green in my case, but everything is still black. Toban fo und a way to do it but it is beyond my simple mind.

I was using IE 9 on windows 7.

Have you looked in the general settings in your forum control panel?

In there you can try setting to a simpler editor or more complex ones that may work better.

Try changing compatibility mode in IE too.

Chrome just works too damn good on the forum so i use that as i say.

I have been using IE since I joined the forum with no troubles of any kind until mid January when I began having troubles typing and formatting messages. At that time I had just begun using a store-bought HP with Windows 8 .

In that the problems coincided with the first use of the W8 machine I have been blaming it [W8] for the problems I've just mentioned.

This change happened because my old desktop had decided it was time to leave me and I purchased a new one to use until I finish reconstructing a new desktop. That alone has been a royal pain with two faulty motherboards so far (one with bent socket pins the other with no LAN connectivity] causing long waits for replacement etc. etc.. Can't wait to finish and get back to my XP heaven!
