Best time ever . . .

My single greatest 'religious' experience was when I attended a Baptist church with a friend. Long story short, we saw an 80 yr old lady begin to do progressively faster laps around the congregation hall, talking to God and repeatedly notifying the crowd that she had been overtaken by the Holy Spirit. On her third lap, she was joined by another elderly lady, and so on and so on, until there was a train (excuse the use of the word train in this example), of elderly folks running laps around the hall. Now I'm all for the elderly getting physical activity. I just wonder. Too much of a good thing and they might end up with a one-on-one with the Man Himself. Anyhow, it made the four hours just fly by. I also enjoyed all the 'Sunday's best' suits in the parking lot, before the doors opened. I thought I was at Marti Gras! Tails and bowlers for everyone! It was then that I realized that God must exist because only an omnipotent being could possibly orchestrate something of this comedic magnitude. Huzzah!
