  • Peruvian Transsexual wants to change back to being a man.

Transsexual wants to be recognized as man by Peruvian government

Fernando ?aupari Buend?a was a born a man, but as he matured he decided to become a woman. After a series of surgeries he succeeded in as much as the Peruvian government recognized him as ?Carmen Claudia.? After years of living in Europe, he has returned to Peru and now wants his country?s government to accept him as a man again.

I wonder in Canada if the reverse switch could also be publicly funded?
For one, I would hate my tax dollars going to people switching back and forth.

How much of this will we see in the future, from all over?
As the article says, he has male chromosomes and nothing can change that.

    Where is the problem?

It's a woman's prerogative to change her mind. So she became a woman, changed her mind, and wants to be known as a man again. When she has transitioned back to being male, we can accuse him of being wishy-washy, not until then.

I'm joking, of course. It does seem like a lot of work to switch back and forth like that. Going one way is hard enough, I wouldn't want to make the journey back and forth too many times.

Is this merely a case that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence or something more pernicious?

Transgenderism is appealing to many, but the underlying difficulties are never known until you are in! Those difficulties might be overlooked by the results (i.e beauty, glamour etc) but once you get old, all of this fade away and what remains is the transgenedered true faith in her real identity!

Stories like the one you cited are possible to occur everywhere, even in Canada. Most people who make the decision to cross the gender line do so when they are young. Now, ask yourself how many decisions you made when you were young that you laugh about today! As we grow, we tend to know more what we "really" want, but at the same time the chances of successful transformation lessen!

Is it possible he just became TG as a career choice?
Made a good living in Europe for many years, then retires back home as a man.

Is he gay now, or straight?

          That was my first thought

That was my first thought too Craig. I just didn't want to say it. I read the article and he/she/he claims to have found God. God told him to straighten up so she divorced her husband, and reverted back to being a man. The story makes me cringe - messages from God. It wasn't big on details but it sounded like the gay rehabilitation projects which encouraged gays to straighten up on religious grounds. So whether our first impression was correct or whether this is another religious thing is anybody's guess.

            Dealbreaker

As soon as someone says "God told me", I stop listening.

              I couldn't help it.....

Reading this got me thinking and the common sense kicked in.

              1. He was boy a born.
              2. He was gay.
              3. He felt like a woman and transitioned.
              4. He found God and transition back....

Yes, but this just tells me that this person was not a true Transsexual.
Only a person living a chosen sexual lifestyle.
A true transsexual would say their internal feelings overrule any religious direction.

You cannot call down religion 100% because it has many good attributes along with the bad.
Religion has a good way of defining morals around most crimes, which is good.
They tend to be judgmental toward sexual lifestyles.

God never said any of that.
This is only a certain sect of Christians that say this.
Unfortunately the bible can be interpreted many ways, just like the Koran.
The majority of them do not believe this, at least publicly.

The primary purpose for Sex is intended for a Man and a Woman to use to create a new human.
God (or whomever) created sex, intended it to be largely between man and woman for procreation.
The fact it is pleasurable is one reason sex activity happens between same sexes.
It is also part of the human power structure.
Dominance is one of the reasons males have gay sex in nature.
Sometimes maybe it is even practice for mating.
A Gay relationship is a sexual one, but it is not mating.
Gay sex is not unnatural, it is just not the primary purpose for sex.

Sounds like he thought he found God, but actually found religion!
"Going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more than
Standing in a garage makes you a car."

Hey, a lot of people think God actually said that.
Many Christians never put together the fact that humans wrote everything that "God said"
No one witnessed Moses receiving the 10 commandments, they just took his word that he talked to "God".

The book of Revelations was apparently a story written by the disciple Paul while he was high on Mushrooms.

The Koran was also written by a human, not any God.

The Bible and other Holy books purportedly written by some God are simply collections of narratives, allegories etc. written with the intent of introducing some form of moral education to assist humans in learning how to live in peace and harmony with other humans.

The Bible, Koran etc. etc. are no more authentic than say Aesop's Fables, which at the time of writing (before Christ), were also meant to introduce the masses to some form of moral education. Those Fables each had some moral lesson as do the stories of our Holy Books! Look up a few Aesops on-line or read a few here (http://aesopfables.com/) or here (http://www.taleswithmorals.com/) and see if you can't agree there's an astounding similarity of the teachings in the Holy Books!

I try and be understanding of everyone's journey in life but one word comes to mind MESS... I know it sounds a little harsh but you would think there would be a moment of clarity like I don't know when you're going under the knife for ffs or a boob job? Like really? Something tells me this individual should be seeking some form of help and not an outcry to the public through the press. Get the help you really need and not a nation wide news article?
