  • Is it just me?

It seems to me that when I look at pics of girls online which I know are real, and then get to see the girls in person, the cock pics always seem larger than they do in real life? There are girls I have avoided because I thought they were too big, then you get there and they look exactly like their pictures, the cock is exactly like the pictures, only smaller. I am not talking about those who exaggerate, but those who actually show it. They are telling the truth in the text of their ads, they just land up being smaller in real life. What gives?

no it is not "just you"

there is some photoshop done at times. Gina Ferrara, for example use to have multiple cock pics in her ad....and they looked great. Now she has photoshopped someone else's darker, thicker cock. Her previous pictures looked way better

May I ask how could someone Photoshop cock pic when it is taken with the whole body? Wouldn't it be so obvious?!

I am talking about when you see the picture and you can tell when you get there you can tell from shape, cut etc on some girls that it is the same as the picture, only it looks bigger in the picture. Laika for example has a specific looking cock, and in person it is exactly the same except for size. I am not talking about those who show false pics or photoshop another dick on their body.

Yes Jane, it can be done. If the computer user is really good it would be impossible to tell

That's what I though about your question.

I think the reason is that you just adore the cock! So, in addition to the actual picture, your mind just creates a parallel, yet slightly exaggerated picture of the girl's cock! You are not alone, there are people like that!

Just along the same line, sometimes when I see new clients, they would say extremely opposite thing about their perception of me. Some will say, we expected you to be more lean and other would say more busty (also taller vs. shorter height wise). It just tells you how each individual create their own perception for the same pic!

Jane, thanks for making me laugh with this response. While I do adore cock, my adoration ends with them and their relationship with my bum, so I would have to disagree with your comment!

The phenomena that BGU commented upon earlier can be said to be an "Optical Delusion"!

Yes Jane, as you say, sometimes our minds permit us to perceive only that which we desire to see while all the while overlooking the realities of what we actually do see.

I've been using photoshop for more years than I care to admit from the version 1 series..

I could easily do something like that in a half hour..

I could put steven harper beside you in your profile pic too and make it look real..

                Back on topic..

I don't think mine seems smaller in real life VS pics..

In real life it seems way bigger to me..

                But then when I say 8x6".. I mean 8x6 not 7x5..

I think it's all about the angle of the pic Bottomguy, but Jane does make a good point

                  Cheers,

Mr. Toban, you are one of the few members here who give me hope in this forum!

I am sure that there are plenty of intellectual gentlemen in this forum who are shy or reluctant to participate. I think that t-girls should have more to offer than just a cock with its associate optical delusion!

This criticism is coming from a girl that is very secure in the "cock department". But I have always noted the gentlemen who come to the session with too much sexual pre-occupation are the ones to enjoy their sessions less!

Its probably the camera angles of those pics that make their dics look bigger than they are. If you avoid shemales because their cocks look too big then maby you should try wet head on wet head with a girl til cum, you'll luv it.

When shooting a subject, regardless of what the subject is, perspective is everything. For example, if my subject is in the foreground, it will look larger relative to everything else in the frame. Having said that, angle is also important. If you want a lady to look taller in the frame, you shoot her from an upward angle, where the camera is somewhere below her waist (mid-line). The more severe the upward angle, the taller she will appear. Lenses also have some influence on this, when shooting from different distances at different focal lengths. In addition, lenses behave differently and provide different levels of perspective depending on their specs and capabilities.

If a lady appears 'larger' in her photos, as apposed to what you see in real life, this is because your eye is at a different angle, and behaves differently than the camera's eye, giving you a different perspective.

On the subject of Photoshop, a 'trained' eye will usually know when a photo has been augmented, especially if the software is from an earlier generation. Seamless is rarely seamless.

On the subject of Laika, I know her and I know the photo that you are referring to. I can tell you two things conclusively.

                        1. That photo is 'her' in every way.
                        2. Any observed difference in size is due to perspective and angle, and not due to an attempt to mislead on her part. She is the genuine article.

                        BTW she is a gem.

                          Imo

I love beautiful photography, it's an art form in itself. When it comes to porn images, great photography can really make or break the fantasy.

But when it comes to escorts, I prefer to see phone selfies instead of beautiful photography ... because they are usually the most honest of what the person looks like in real life.

If they look good in a selfie, they will look absolutely stunning in the flesh...

Also, chances of the image getting stolen and used by someone else for a bait & switch are much slimmer!

Yep, IMHO too, professional pics mean lack of realness

Yes Locomotion I have to agree completely with your take on this trend towards artistic photos.

Many of the high tech/high resolution/highly retouched/highly modified ?artsy? photos of today seem, to me anyway, rather artificial and do not show the real person. Sure they may be photographically superb I suppose, quite fitting in a gallery but they lack the spontaneity of the self shot or even everyday snapshots taken by friends.

I can recall several photos of one very prominent local girl that she had posted very early on after first moving to Toronto where she was just posed in very natural settings, including some street shots and these shots impressed me much more than some of her other later more artsy ones have done. They were able to transmit her spirit which the posed artistic shots can never do!

Now going to the other side of the photographic extreme I am amazed at some of the atrocious shots that some girls put up in their ads on SMC or elsewhere, supposedly to attract clients, where these pictures are so carelessly posted: upside down, sideways, out of focus, so totally dark or so washed out they are completely useless and yet I have to assume that these girls still expect these photos to attract clients.

When even the cheapest digital cameras these days generally come with some basic editing tools any girl could adjust her photos before posting them, cropping out unwanted stuff, brightening dull shots etc. so as to present the best possible view to better attract any potential clients!

In my opinion, professional pics which are not touched/modified are very close representation of reality. Photoshop thing is quite different.

Professional photographers take advantage of the light to maximize the exposure, in addition to choosing the best angle. This is all fair play. But once the brushes and multiple layers kick in this is where the problems start. Most highly paid professional photographers hate Photoshop and assign it to assistants.

Selfies could be deceiving as hell if there are major adjustments with contrast, brushes etc. There are many selfies which I have seen where the pictures were adjusted to a great extent.

The bottom line is that as long as the same image could be reproduced in reality, the game is fair! Be it professional, selfie etc.
