anyone using paypal to pay for cam sex through skype or ym?
from some chats, it seems this is much cheaper than some of the sites such as jasmine or imlive but i'm not sure about the privacy.
when you pay someone with pay pal, is your personal information shared with them such as name and address?

cam4 you can find lots of girls who offer private in skype for usually about 20$ or so with no time limit but I haven't tried this yet.

For what it is worth, I have never used PayPal for this kind of use but the way PayPal transfers funds would always be the same. I have used PayPal for both buying and selling in 100's of commercial transactions. Your only $$$ transaction will be with PayPal, not with the sellor or in your case the purveyor of the camsex.

Here's how it works: When you join PayPal you give them permission to act as an intermediary in financial transactions for you and also to withdraw/deposit funds from/to your bank account.

Now, when you purchase anything, they immediately withdraw that amount from your bank for transfer to your PayPal account, then hold it there for later transfer to the sellors bank account. The sellor can only log on to PayPal to verify that they have rec'd your payment for later transfer by them to his bank.

Once you have made a PayPal purchase you are never involved financially with the sellor.

Crag, who as a businessman, has pointed out in his post above the way PayPal works on the seller’s end and what info is available to the seller on the other end of a purchase.

If you send as personal friend or family then no address is shared but a name is always shared no matter what the circumstances

I believe when you use Paypal as an eWallet and just pay money to another person in this way,
then only the name is shown as Candyland says.

By eWallet I mean individuals that have personal accounts that just use it to pay for stuff.
They are not considered a business or merchant.

If you buy something with your paypal account with a site or business that is a merchant,
they can see your Name address and the last digits of your card.
Merchants are not ewallets.
Paypal also allows merchant accounts that allow websites to take credit cards and also money from Paypal wallets.

So I would say if you are doing private transactions like this the model cannot see your stuff because it is an eWallet transaction.

My understanding is that payment for any adult services on paypal is illegal.
If caught they will close your account and seize any funds in there, never to be seen again.
The model risks her account on Paypal by doing this.

In addition the models that do this on IMlive and Live Jasmin are cheating those sites by doing private shows for you.
This is against the rules, but the models would have never met you at the right time without those sites.
Most likely Cam4 doesn't allow it either.

So the model is breaking the rules at Paypal and the webcam site by doing private shows.
They could be banned from both if caught.

All sites that are merchants sites can see your personal information.
No one can ever actually see your credit card number or anything like that, just address and name.
This includes adult sites and other online shopping.
All merchant sites will have a privacy policy regarding your information and will lose their processing capability if breached.
And you can sue them.

Private shows on Skype have no privacy policy.
However if you met the model on a large webcam site, they would still be bound by their privacy policy for a show on SKYPE.
Even though they were cheating you could still take action against the webcam site and/or her.

I suppose there is a chance the model could just take your money and not do a show.
If you complain to Paypal they won't do anything if you are breaking their rules against adult transactions.
They would just take your remaining money and kick you off.

When i send money by Interac Email money transfer with many banks you only see the person's email and that's it.

paxum.com is a good eWallet site for exchanging money.
payoneer.com is also a good site for transferring money around, especially to other countries.
These services save alot over wiring cash.

Imlive.com accepts all kinds of payment, right? I work the other end so I just assume they work like any adult pay site.
Imlive is way better than Cam4, just saying.

Hi, Just wanted to get involved in the convo I have been caming on Cam4. I did use it some years ago when it was just tips but now they have "pay per minute" aswell. It works out nice now...
