Made an appointment to meet a provider who is based in Montreal but travels to the Toronto area approximately once a month. I wanted to see her in the Toronto area because it is a significantly closer driving distance from my home in Rochester, NY than Montreal, but, still close to a 3 hour trip one way. She declined to tell me in advance what hotel she was staying at so I took a guess at the exit off the QEW and called her for further directions. When I asked several times for the name of the hotel, she responded but I could not hear her response due to her accent and my bad hearing. She then hung up on me & refused to answer a subsequent call. The long trip was not in vain because i immediately called another provider in Toronto who I am very fond of. My point in posting this thread is to tell providers that if they are staying in a public facility, there is no reason not to tell a client the name of the facility in advance. When the client arrives at the facility, ask him to call again for a room number.
