As someone who posts regularly on CL and gets an insane amount of totally moronic, knuckle-dragging responses, I came across this posted just now and it's AWESOME:
1. Don't post/send a pic- the single most important thing you can do is not have a pic. Afraid your dick will be recognized? It's really cool of you do not send a pic when the ad reads: No pic No reply. Keep up the good work!

And now a word on trans people here on CL. The most common type of trans person you will find here is a CD. They will have varying degrees of "passability"(trans people HATE that word). Very few of them come on here. Then there are shemales; a porn term but it's way better than "non-operative" transsexual. Most of these girls are escorts. They may not be able to get a regular job so they do something that makes them very much in demand. Besides myself, you won't find many of them on here. . Trying to take a guy from this mindset to being willing to pay "X" number of dollars to do so is a huge leap. For CDs guys are assuming yes they are guys dressing up for sexual excitement and arousal and expect them to jump at the chance to suck or ride a cock! Maybe CL has changed but for awhile they were being pretty diligent about flagging and deleting any ad perceived as P4P (pay 4 play). As for them wanting the CDs to be passable is kind of ridiculous as they are not going to see them in public! I did use CL when I first started escorting as was still technically a CD. But due to dealing with this mindset and CL deleting all my ads as fast as I put them up...lol.. I decided to stick to the actual escort sites (SMC, Backpage, Sexyescortads, etc). Maybe the Craigslist ads in the bigger centers are a little more legit. I just don't agree with the whole send a pic thing as the world of escorting seems to preach"discretion assured".
