Yes I know technically how the sites do this by automatically displaying the city that the users are logging in from. But how is it that they are not getting sued for false advertising and fraud by users, who sign up and then find there are in fact no hot guys, girls, trannies in Butthole, Wisconsin or Kansas or Manitoba, Sask, etc.?

Its not just that they aren't in your area, they aren't even real profiles either. You could be trying to contact girls from major cities and all you'll get is automated messages and responses that simply entice you to keep paying but don't lead anywhere. I've even seen them use photos of girls in the porn industry.

No doubt I'm pretty sure that the dozen or so girls profile pix that pop up on sites dedicated to TS and Tranny dating/hookups are professional bio female porn stars not even TSs. I tried Sugarbaby/Sugardaddy out . As soon as I filled out my profile I had video chat requests coming in from stock brokers, lawyers and doctors. Which of course I could not enter into or respond to without a paid membership. They offered a 3 day free trial with a revolving monthly charge after that just needed CC info to verify age and of course NO charge if I cancelled within the 3 days. Curiosity got the better of me and as soon as I signed on all these guys were no longer online, did not respond to my replies, and I could not find them in a search for my area. I checked my CC online and a charge for the first month was already there. I emailed their customer service and told them to reverse the charge or I would have my bank reverse it. I told them that what they were doing with the fake video chat requests and profiles was fraud and false advertising. They did reverse the charge and I didn't pursue it any further than that.

I think the worst are the foreign girl sites for Latin, Asian, Eastern European or Russian women. They will charge you $4-6 per email you send or reply too because their staff interpreters must convert the emails from English to and from whatever language. Want to see $500-1000 a month in CC charges? Just go on one of those sites! Not to mention the 100's or 1000's that sweet little girl will convince you to send to help her out for her 3 starving children, sick mother, dying grandmother and of course to pay for her passport/visa and flights to come see you! Boy guys are stupid. Hmmm how do I know? LOL.

It is just like much other advertising where they says that the people appearing may be actors.
If you look closely there is probably a link or disclaimer.

They buy licensed content and use that for the advertisments, they don't often use real profile in the ads.
Maybe this is a privacy thing or they cannot misrepresent a real person but they can misrepresent a fake person.

Even though I see the pornstar pictures on the ads, you don't actually see those people in profiles inside the sites.
So that also shows it is just in the advertising.

Since I sell these products I have complained about this exact thing.
However some sites that do this like adultfriendfinder, are simply the best sources for amateur tgirls, even with their tactics.

INAL, but I imagine this its in fine print that the girls in the ad are paid models and not regular members. Even so it so, they make a lot of people mad. From what I understand, at least 10% of guys are very interested in being with a tgirl, but transgender people are only about 0.3% of the population. That results in a large number of guys interested in and having a hard time meeting tgirls. So they probably figure they piss off a large number of people and get new customers to make up for it. Or in the case of friend finder maybe not.

That page looks like all the profiles are actual members, just the data is an example.

So they are not hiding that the location is not necessarily right, but it is not necessarily wrong either.

Yes AFF is decent if what a person is looking for is sex hook-ups. Mostly attached guys for the most part and some singles. Most of the couples seem to always be just the guy talking for them. Different story all together if a travel company advertises, displays and sells trips to a 4 star ocean side resort and then you get there and are driven up to a 2 star run down motel with a dirty pool....get your lawyer and sue THAT'S FRAUD ! And people with "half a brain" have it figured out because this is old news and seen it a 100 times before. You get the Big Mac or Sub same ingredients just not stacked as neatly as the picture. If they advertise Big Macs and sell you stale hotdogs ...get your lawyer THAT'S FRAUD, misrepresentation, false advertising
