Professional Athletes Coming Out? Bad Career Move??
Well along the topic of sports and athletes Michael Sam NFL player just came out as gay. How will this effect his career in the NFL?
I think after all the politically correct statements are done it will have an adverse effect on his career as many teams who had thought about drafting him may now pass due to worrying about team morale or division in the locker room over the issue.

NBA player Jason Collins came out as gay last season and so far has not been picked up by another team though he
is not at the same level as a player as Michael Sam is in the NFL. So we will wait and see for both of them.
