Your facts are outdated. I stepped down as mod a while ago. There goes your argument. And I never said anything about pm because it wasn't a pm. Some of us have a cell phone.

It appears to me that some here are reading more into Shyla’s original post than was intended e.g. there was no mention whatsoever of “Private Messaging” in the original post nor was there any mention about “girls“ messaging. The title of the original post was “Messaging Girls about Other Girls” and it seems pretty clear that it related to someone (a client maybe) having asked Shyla for recommendations about the service of some other girl. Whatever happened she was upset!

In addition to advising against making such requests, she warned too that asking for such a third party referral might provide you with some information that is untrustworthy.

Want the story? One of my friends recommended a client to me. Unfortunately, the girl charged 100$ for service. I charge 3 times that. The client "shopped" with me on the phone until he realized he could not afford me. I told him to save up as I do not lower my rates ever. He messages me a few days later asking me about another girl.

Problem 1: The first girl that recommended him to me made a serious mistake thinking the value she had assigned herself was equal to mine.

Problem 2: I owe this person nothing. I am not retiring, the person knew the advantages of my product over the other as I had already discussed this with him. He could not afford my rates and was looking for someone that could provide equal service at a lower rate.

Total lack of common sense.... not only was the request for a recommendation rude, but like you said Toban, the first recommendation to me was useless to the client. Telling someone that a Ferrari is the best car is pointless if the person cannot afford it

I don't know about the Audi/Mercedes analogy Shyla. If I were an Audi dealer I would consider it an opportunity to point out the advantages of the Audi over the Mercedes.
