I got involved in a bit of a conversation or discussion with a cam actress when I mentioned I shoot porn. As soon as she realized that, her attitude changed and she began to talk down to me....which caused me to laugh a bit.

If we are both taking off our clothes for the camera and being paid for it, it's there any difference between porn and webshows? Other than the fact that porn pays better?

Webcam girls don't want to admit they are paid to perform sexual acts , and use that to try to justify within their own minds that somehow they are not part of the adult industry. It is silly and makes no sense, but that is why they look down on you I think. One of these scenarios where they do something but are too cowardly to admit what they are doing so they demean others to try to make themselves feel better.

I totally agree. This is the reason I use "Adult Actress". I do not and have not, earned the right to call myself a pornstar...just give me some time...

I only wanted to point out that the time/money ratio between the two respective careers is disproportionately in favor of the adult actress. Other than that I see very few differences.
