Alot of it is still up to the escort how they want to display their ad.
If they jam it into one big paragraph, that is their choice.
They can easily format their page to show the facts more clearly.

Plus this information is usually in their tag lines:

It's a great suggestion.. however..

I like it the way it is.. I include all the details you mentioned in my profile. I believe it to be clear, concise and well laid out..

Thus an advantage over those who don't know how to form a paragraph or a sentence in some cases..

Those who cannot create a detailed ad that is easily deciphered are at a disadvantage over those who can..

I think it's up to the provider to provide their own advertising.. I know lots of really smart Asian, European, Hispanic, & Middle Eastern girls that are exceptional at writing ads and including all their pertinent info.. Some of them get other people to write their ads for them as well which is a great idea if there's a language barrier..

Crag. It is just a suggestion. I could see how age and ancestry would be a problem where someone would deliberately provide false information.

As for ancestry I still think it could be used in a valid way. If a girl for example is truly half Irish and half Turkish then the field could be filled out to their advantage

Forget about the weight field. In all honesty I put it there as I wanted to fill up the space and it usually goes hand in hand with height. I think it should be required that all spaces are filled in before the ad is displayed. Kinda of like when you order something online. If you miss your address or expiration date of your CC, it won't allow you to continue without filling in all the spaces.

There is required fields, they are:
username
password
city
province
country
email
profile

All that fill out that many fields are approved usually.
To appear at the top of the listings they must provide a reasonable face picture.

Having other required fields that are not necessary would just force people to post lies in some cases.
To me the minimum requirements to advertise are fulfilled by the above.

They are free to add as much extra information as they like.
It is in their best interests to tell more so if the profile is bland, they won't get much business.

The escorts are free to put whatever they want short of explicit description of sex acts.
Some go too far and put so much crap it just makes your head spin, loud music, sparkles, flashing crap, etc.

In a way I have come to favour Rantsalot’s idea if not his exact proposed style. There seems to be a lot of dissent by those claiming that such info wouldn’t be accurate but IMHO that is not a valid criticism because we all know that even now whatever info is written in many ads may have little in common with the facts. Even now many ads are ridden with false info! It can’t be prevented.

Some years ago reviews were posted to SMC freestyle without any plan or style. Some were fine but others were useless. In an attempt to make them more useful and easy to understand a pattern or format to aid in writing them was posted by this Forum. That pattern is predominately used now by many, if not most reviewers, and as a result reviews are generally more informative as well as more easily understood. The same could be done for Reviews!! The same kind of system could be implemented by SMC so that a template for an ad could be added to the list of required fields to be filled in by those wishing to submit an ad.

If that were to be done then with more facts at our disposition there’d be far less chance of finding that we’ve made a bad decision due to missing or lack of information! Some parts of the format could even be made mandatory (as per Ray's suggestion) yet the girl would still have full control over her main text field where she can freely tell her story etc. in her own words!

I feel that if a mandatory format could be implemented for ads to be accepted to SMC then we would know that all of the basic stats that we all hunt so diligently for would be assembled in a readily identifiable location in that ad. The main issue with implementing "mandatory" fields is that you will ultimately force some girls to provide false information in order to gain access to the site. Therefore, ultimately the imposition of mandatory fields would be counterproductive.

I didn't take it that Rantsalot made a suggestion to that extent, but I recognize that Ray did. Therefore, while the original idea might appear neutral, the addition of mandatory fields to gain access might be excessive and will ultimately fail to serve the purpose behind it. "A girl gotta do what a girl gotta do"!

There are many advertising websites out there which appear lucrative on the surface, but in substance they fail dramatically.
