In the name of neatness I would love to have everything organized into fields, but that's more because I just really like fields, and less of whether or not it's actually a good idea. The current model has its advantages in that it filters out all the "I LUV U BB $50 GOOD TIME" ads broadcast daily from your local trailer park. Generally speaking, the only thing that currently annoys me is that the site appears to be incapable of detecting line breaks; everything sort of just congeals together within the designated textboxes.

I didn't take it that Rantsalot made a suggestion to that extent, but I recognize that Ray did. Therefore, while the original idea might appear neutral, the addition of mandatory fields to gain access might be excessive and will ultimately fail to serve the purpose behind it. "A girl gotta do what a girl gotta do"!

There are many advertising websites out there which appear lucrative on the surface, but in substance they fail dramatically. Shemale Canada stands out among the most "natural" advertising sites, IMO. It provides the same raw material for all the girls and it is up to each girl to convert such a raw material into a piece of art of her own taste.

Filling in a form is not going to force any girl to lie. We know that even today, false information is being provided in current ads by some girls so I can’t see that having to use a mandatory format will somehow cause a conscientious girls to lie just because she must fill in a form.

As to my previous recommendations, which you quote above, I don’t think I expressed my thoughts very clearly last night on making parts of the process mandatory.

In saying that parts could be “made mandatory“ it was not my intention that every single data box be necessarily filled in completely but that an ad could only be placed by using the provided template. This is the current "Review Template" http://tgirlforums.com/yabbse/forms.php?do=form&fid=1 and it is my belief that a similar template be used for those wishing to place SMC ads.

Such a practice would ultimately provide more consistency and reliability in the ads. It would not necessarily mean though that everything was 100% kosher. While filling in the provided template girls could still place incorrect information there if they chose to lie or they could even leave any box blank if desired. To back up my point about template use, as is often seen in the reviews posted by those using the forum’s Review template, some areas do remain blank but the reviews all follow a consistent pattern. IMHO, it would be helpful if ads were also more uniform.

The main points of these SMC ads as I see it, are to get the facts out in plain sight both in text and in image form. The end result of using a mandatory “Advertising Template” would be that those searching for information would know exactly where to find those specifics they need to know - after all, isn’t that the principle reason ads are placed - to present information to attract potential consumers?

In addition to filling in the required fields those girls who wish to exercise their literary skills could still add one of those 2000 word essays if they needed to further explain why they should be the chosen one receive your call for service.

BTW, this is all just pie in the sky because it is CRAG who would have to handle the extra hours and work needed to implement and oversee the whole thing. So far he doesn't seem to be enthused at all by this idea! So

It appears that you misunderstood my post. I was referring to the "mandatory filling" of the templates as opposed to the templates themselves. Yes, in that context, requiring the girls to get every single field filled in order for their ads to get approved will definitely force some to provide false information.

This is not the case when filling such templates is made optional. I am actually neutral to the suggestion as "originally" proposed in this thread.

          Use basic HTML

You need to use basic html..
          is a line break and

          is a paragraph..

You can use quite a bit of html to fully customize it to your taste..

Oh, I didn't know it let you use that. That's certainly way more convenient. Thanks.

I disagree with any changes. SMC is open source and you can do anything with it....yourself. I don't want my ad looking like anyone else's, and everyone can edit or write down what they want about themselves without it being forced onto you. If some people are better at writing than others, or some people are smarter than others...too bad. This is capitalism. The tools are all already there. If some choose not to use them...once again, too bad. And why force people to reveal information? The basic information provided should be enough. If it isn't, call her for the rest.

The code to my SMC is under Lock and Key due to all the mods I had done to it. It was a lot of work, time and effort to get everything the way I wanted it. Part of it, I figured out myself, other parts I needed help to get it right. If you are not a designer with a marketing background, you probably are better off paying someone to do it. I have the marketing background, but I have very limited coding or graphic designing experience. Adding tables, videos, twitter feed, etc all take time and planning.

Whats needed on shemalecanada is a search bar to allow you to enter any city name like St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, etc, to find all escorts located in any city.

                  SMC "profile" design

I would like to be able to know how to design my shemalecanada page to add a personal touch. Maybe there can be some guide somewhere on the site where the girls can learn some basic stuff about making their pages look a bit professional.

Some pages are really nicely done, and that should be available to everyone, not only to the ones who know anything about website design.

So maybe there can be a page of weekly updates that include how to design the page so that we can change fonts, add backgrounds, impost images or whatever.

I wonder if the escort's page on SMC can have links on the page like, "SERVICES" "RATES" "REVIEWS" which when clicked, bring the reader to another page (or another area of the page) to see the "RATES" or whatever. Is that possible?

                  Babe,
                  xoxo

I do believe that this information is probably the most important to a client, yet not stated in many ads. I read through the first dozen or so ads in the escort area of SMC to find what it was that caught my eye. First, the pictures. If I found myself in any way attracted to the t-girl in the ad, I would read further on. What I was interested in, and searched for, was their "preferred" orientation. I found about 20% of the ads included this information.
"Your time with me...., I'll leave you breathless...., Great with first timers...." Blah, blah blah. That's all wonderful and all but, exactly how will this be the time of my life? If I'm a top guy and you are a top oriented girl, you're right, I will leave wanting more!! Some of the more well known girls will direct you to their website for further info or to call them for that as well, but my time is also valuable and if I have to spend what little time I have browsing through websites and making calls just to know if the provider and I are "compatible" and could could get off on the right foot of having"chemistry", I'll probably say to hell with it.
I can appreciate the fact that some providers use the word versatile and in all fairness, to attract clients, this is ok. But the new guy may see that and wonder what her true preference is, as with most careers, we are all faced with things we enjoy doing and things we'll do only because it is part of the job. Sexual preference, may deter some clients, but may attract others, and could result in fewer less than stellar reviews and more positive ones. This is only my opinion as to what could be added to profiles as that was what caught my eye and not the physical and cultural stats that generally can be distinguished by pictures.
