Questions about Montreal...

Hi everybody...

I'm planning a trip to Montreal this summer as Ive never been there. Just a couple questions...

1. Where is Montreal's downtown core? I know Toronto's is Young street up to Bloor. Knowing this would help me get an appropriately located hotel.

2. Now that citi-bar is closed where can I meet the city's beautiful bevy hot young tgirls? Is there any other bar or 'street' I can meet them?

3. And lastly, what is the number one attraction to see when I visit?

The center of downtown is generally considered to be Rue St. Catherines & Blvd St. Laurent.
This exact intersection may not be the best but it is right in the center of everything.
Rue St. Catherines is generally considered the main strip.

I would recommend staying near here but not west of St Laurent.
West is towards the hockey arena and Crescent street were there are alot of straight clubs.
Apparently the bars will be able to stay open until 5am on Crescent st. this summer.
When you start heading east down St Catherines it start to turn into the Gay village.
So most of your tgirl action will be east of St. Laurent.

Apparently the girls are going to club Apollon now.
Not sure where that is but probably east of St. Laurent, if I were to guess.
I think I have been there before.
Cleopatras is right on St laurent off St Catherines but there hasn't been much tgirl action there for a while.

You are also not far from Tranzen on Ontario st. from this area.
This is probably worth a visit from the list of girls I usually see there.

Probably the biggest attraction in Montreal, besides the Habs, is Old Montreal.
Notre Dame Cathedral and all that stuff is pretty interesting, that is all nearby here too.
My favourite attraction is the Gilles Villeneuve racetrack on the island, usually I will rollerblade from downtown over the Pont Jacques Cartier to the track. Then i will do a few laps around the formula one circuit before heading back.
I actually like the Intercontinental Hotel in Old Montreal, it is very nice and not as expensive as others.
I used to like staying at the Holiday Inn express on Blvd Rene Levesque, it used to be an apartment building so you get a full suite with kitchen and everything. Delta hotel is nice, Marriott was dated and run down.

Montreal can be fun.

Club Apollon is at 1450 St-Catherine est, lady's night is wednesday starting at 10 pm.

thanks for the replies. Yeah Ill prob stay at the Delta. Its usually where I stay when I'm Toronto. I like big hotels with lots of activity where one can come and go anonymously.

Def will either check out the Appolo and/or Tranzen. Some cuties at that Tranzen.

The last hotel I did stay at was the Cosmopolitan in DT Toronto. Beautiful room but the lobby was so small and intimate, with only one way in/out through the front lobby, the staff always aware of any activity, not that they care, of coarse,lol.

The Delta Chelsea is awesome because its so big.

I like most Deltas too but the Chelsea is no longer a Delta hotel.
They appear to have sold it and built a new one.

Montreal used to have two Delta hotels central.
But one is gone now but the nicer (newer?) one stayed open.

I think they built an extra one for the Olympics, and we know what happened to most stuff built for the olympics.

If you are looking for a very discrete hotel, The Hyatt Regency is awesome for that. Multiple enterances on two major streets. The Westin is also discreet. These are my favourite hotels in Montreal to do outcalls to. The Queen Elizabeth and the Chateau Champlain are next.

Apollon is rather a new thing and at this point can be very hit or miss.

on the weekends, you can also check out "Cabaret Fun Spot" 1151 Ontario East street, it used to be popular with shemales and TV's prior to Citibar, from what I heard, many shemales have gone back there... as with the Citibar, the girls show up late, 11:30 - midnight...

Very interesting how many streets they close off in Summer.
When summer comes Montreal loves to party, that is for sure.
Certainly not what was going on when i was there in November.

I didn't realize that St. Catherines is close off through the Gay Village.
However alot of great restaurants are along this strip.
