  • It?s time for this forum to get back to basics!

Since it?s inception about 10 years ago this forum has become probably, one of, if not the very best, sources of t-girl information in the country. It?s name, T-Girlforums implies quite clearly that it is a unique forum, a forum concerned with T-girls, where discussion about T-girls and matters related to T-Girls could be found. Over it?s life so far, this forum has become the best and most inclusive source of information about T-girls in this country!

It?s name is not suggestive in any way of this forum being just another generic or open forum where posts about matters of any kind are welcome. Because a trend of late to there being many threads and postings of material not even vaguely related to T-girls, I have some concern that this forum may be in danger of becoming less and less the standard that it has become over it?s first 10 years of existence.

Because of it?s name, when someone first visits this forum then, they almost certainly do so with the reasonable expectation of finding information about T-girls and topics related to T-girls! That being the case then, it is only natural for any visitors to also expect that threads posted within this forum would also have some real connection to T-girls, including amongst them such topics as commonly already exist in it?s present iteration: service, pricing, transition, reviews, escorting or any other topic that might logically be related to T-girls, even if the connection is ever so slight.

Unfortunately, of late, more and more threads and posts have been completely unrelated to T-girls and it is my contention that if such thoughtless, inconsiderate postings continue to increase in frequency I foresee a problem arising in the future where the abundance of such unrelated postings could tend to defeat the initial purpose of this forum and lead to it?s irrelevance as the prime source of T-girl information and ultimately be responsible for it?s decline and eventual demise.

That would be a terrible loss to everyone in the community!

To forestall that potential tragedy from happening perhaps something could/should be done to limit or prevent so many totally unrelated materials from being posted in either new or in existing threads whether they be new material or additions to already present posts. Some of these entries do get a lot of traffic which may be advantageou$ to the forum in one sense, but such useless entries are not supportive of the cause, and IMHO their presence actually subjugates the original principle upon which this forum was begun - the betterment of the girls of this community and their followers!

I am now donning my flac jacket to prepare for the coming onslaught from !

Toban, I've been saying this same thing for a long time now but it always falls on deaf ears. I think it's for a few reasons. 1st, if you recall, there used to be a whole lot of girls on here, chatting with prospective clients and letting people into their lives just a little bit and it was very enjoyable. There was also a lot of "Cat fighting" for lack of a better term and that wasn't helpful to this site growing. Threads of any kind that aren't fights are better than those that do but to have topics like "1" or "Apples compared to Oranges" etc. has absolutely nothing to do with Tgirls and although they might be fun to read and participate in, they aren't related to what this forum is all about. 2nd, The structure of this forum is out of whack. things are posted in areas where they don't belong. Pictures belong in the picture section, chat belongs in the chat section, etc. It hurts the searching ability as well. And 3rd and likely most important is there are many members here that weren't around back in the day to know what this site used to be like so they can't be blamed. They can however be introduced to the way it used to be but that takes all of the old timers to speak up and be willing to say something and participate. Most I'm afraid just walk away from the site rather than risk being chastised for their comments or stop by for a little while, say nothing and move on. Maybe this site has just evolved to what it is now and us old timers are hoping for things the way they were. Kind of like we do when we see the youth of today and shake our heads and wonder what the world is coming to.

I really think the girls like the fighting. Eliminate the fighting and there is no reason for them to come here. I can think of more than couple of girls that only contributed in threads where there was fighting/disagreements.

As long as there is no physical threats made or personal info exposed than it should be tolerated. In-fighting is part of the Tgirl culture.

I think there was some poor moderation of this forum over the years, in terms of over-moderation. And its turned people off. Neutered many of the best posters (girls and guys).

In terms of thread topics. I think the girls should be given more leeway (sp) in what they can post about. I don't mind if Lucy starts a thread about what her favorite clubs are in Toronto, for example. But for the guys I wish they would just stick to Tgirl topics.

I totally disagree I don't really understand what posts are totally unrelated to tgirls?
Name some posts that are unrelated to tgirls?
There is the odd game that maybe comes in from other forums, nothing wrong with that.
If you don't like it, don't play it. If you don't like it don't read it.
The forum doesn't exist just to have threads you think should be here, sometimes there will be stuff you don't like.
If it is on this forum it is related to tgirls, if tgirls post on the thread or read it, even more.

If it is about Stanley cup, for example, and tgirls and tgirl admirers are discussing it then it is about tgirls with a tgirl slant.

So in your opinion the forum is going out of business?
It has more traffic and members than ever, plus there appears to be more escort reviews coming in than ever.
I am not sure how you are justifying the demise of tgirlforums?
Are there better sites I am unaware of that have opened and have us in their sites?

Going on about not being able to find information about tgirls here makes no sense.
Every square inch of the forum is in relation to tgirls.

Toban, Tgirls are not some magical unicorn, they are human beings.
As such, human being discuss human things.
Sometimes it is not sexy but if there is a tgirl involved it is about tgirls.

Tgirls do everything other people do, why can they talk about normal shit and play normal games.
Does every thread have to be about counting shemale cocks?
What is wrong with some of the fun things other forums do?

The fact is the forum has everything it always did plus more of everything else.
Nothing is lost and it is just as useful as always.

        thanks

Deaf ears, I have never heard you say one peep to me or one PM or one email.

So it is really you don't like what a couple of new members have posted here and there.
          You could just say that.
What is wrong with an odd game post like "1" or a thread about something YOU don't agree with.
I think the the game post is fantastic and fun and sometimes it does have a tgirl twist.
IF you don't like stuff, don't read it.

In the old days there was less forums and EVERYTHING was posted in tgirl chat, so saying that stuff is not posted in the right sections now is not completely accurate.
If local girls have new pictures it is ok to post them in the chat section because we might want to chat about them.
The pictures and videos section is full of porn and the real members stuff can get lost in there.
          None of this hurts searches.
Use the main forum search, you will find all threads or posts for what you are searching for, no matter what forum they are in.

Stuff gets moved around all the time.
Please post some examples of the mayhem you describe, I don't see it at all.
Please say how you would like it, rather than how it is wrong.

What do you consider "Old Time" you are actually a fairly recent member.

When did girls stopping coming on here and chatting with clients and talking about their lives?
          They still do, Period!

However since the inception of this forum, things like facebook and twitter have been invented.
Now often girls will only post stuff on facebook that they used to post here, nothing we can do about that.
The fact is there is more reviews and more members on here than ever.
There is just as many tgirls talking as ever, they just are not necessarily the same one.

If you have suggestions and problems send them in but include examples because most of what you say is just generalizations.
The forum is no different than it used to be there is just some different people and more forums.

The fighting will happen and has always happened, there is not really more of less of it.
Lately I have just let the fighting go on because many complained to me that I should let it play out.

          Always listen to everyone always.

            Toban,
I see what you are trying to say here, but in reality, just how many strictly t-girl topics can there be that hasn't already been discussed. As a relatively new member myself, I found this forum educational to some degree, as I really had not much of a idea outside of porn as to what makes these girls tick. I still don't, but what I have learned is that they are much more than gaping asses and throbbing cocks and that they have the same feelings and life ambitions as anyone else, but are chastised by society because of the sex trade label put on them. These girls are evolving as are the men who are interested in them. For the most part, I'm here because I am still trying to figure out what it is that attracts me to these girls as I choose to opt out of the " other half " of the fun. I for one, rather enjoy conversations that are non sex related as one can only look at a " brown eye" or watch porn for so long before I lose interest altogether. I follow the "fun" rule here as one can't take things too seriously. Things, people, everything changes over time, ride the wave my friend.

You're right, I never PM'd you or started a thread like this one to voice my opinion about how I perceive things having changed over the years here but I have made those comments in different threads that I've responded to. Would it have made any difference? To set the record straight, I am not a fairly recent member to this forum as you called me. I joined in March of 2005. I don't know when this forum started in relation to when I joined but I don't think having been a member for more than 9 years makes me a recent member. I have had periods of time that I didn't come here but sometimes life gets in the way of having time to sit at a computer. So to avoid further fueling this fire I won't comment further and just take your advice and stop reading things that are posted here that I don't have a specific interest in.

I think you misunderstood my point (maybe my fault). I never said to eliminate fighting (in fact quite the opposite), my point was certain threads were moderated (locked) in the past that should have been left alone.

I did misunderstand. Moreover, I was probably guilty of doing exactly that. Over moderatoring in a hope to keep people behaving.

It?s time for this forum to get back to basics!

I personally enjoy it when tgirls talk about something other than tgirls. Don't get me wrong the sex/industry talk is what brought me here to begin with, but all that non stop objectifies them to an unhealthy degree.

Instead of banning or limiting content I think an optimistic route like encouraging more interesting topics would be better. Of course that's all work and $$.

I didn't call you not an old member, I just didn't go look up how long you'd been here.
Not a problem at all, i just don't see what has changed so much?
In the time you are a member the only thing that has changed were the members.
Is someone posts in the chat section about escorts, it usually gets moved to the right section.

There is old members that just quit like Lisa, she didn't leave because of the forum she left because she quit escorting.
This has happened to many of the tgirls.
                        People come and go.

The few tgirls that weren't escorts that chatted here probably just use facebook or something now.

If you think something significant has changed please let me know, i just can't really see it myself.
Or if you think something shouldn't be posted or something report it.
I am not going to see suggestive comments in every thread.

I'm not upset, it just seems there is misconceptions.
If you don't like the way the forum is send me specific problems or suggestions.

Yes but which threads to choose?
Some threads just have to get locked when they get ridiculous.

The only goal ever was for stop severe abuse.
However there is no winning around here.
Half the people will say moderate it, the other half say leave it alone.

It is also very easy to say leave stuff alone but you don't know what may be going on behind the scenes.
Or you may not see stuff that was posted and removed right away.
You cannot just judge based on what you see.
How do you know who complained, how do you know who was involved.

The only thing here i have ever been guilty of is caring about EVERY members feelings.
                          I HAVE NO AGENDA, PERIOD!
At some point I have to take stuff down that is just mean, racist or bigoted, doesn't matter who posted it.
YOu may find it amusing but that don't mean it is right.

You may like to see Barbie call guys a fag day after day after day.
I would rather see a thread about something else even it is not specifically about Tgirls.

Never have i seen a forum where everyone judges the management so much.
The rules and the decision of what to moderate are 100% up to the management.
Read what you like, ignore what you don't.
I just don't get the big deal.

After much BS I have just decided to let it go and not moderate anything anymore.
This is probably was started this thread because now there is drival and fighting posted that may have been removed in the past.

If you guys just want to stand around and poke each others in the eye like the three stooges go ahead.
Just don't come running to me when your feelings get hurt.

O M G, where to start! I'll try to hit most points here

There?s lots here that I enjoy, I am talking about the scores of excessive posts of the type mentioned above being used seemingly for little else than add to one?s post count! I probably enjoy most of the sections of this forum - well maybe most, except the stuff about hockey.

So in your opinion the forum is going out of business?
It has more traffic and members than ever, plus there appears to be more escort reviews coming in than ever.
I am not sure how you are justifying the demise of tgirlforums?

No!! At no time did I ever say that the forum was going out of business. I acknowledged, did I not, that this is the best T-Girl site ever! I was suggesting though that if posts about stuff unrelated to the forum and to t-girls in particular become more numerous as more posters get into that mode, then because of the greater numbers of posts with little but useless drivel in them and of no t-girl value there will be less incentive for anyone to visit here. They?ll be less inclined to visit because there will be less factual material to seek out. Eventually, if enough people stop clicking on this site the post counts that the forum depends upon financially will decline, followed by revenue it draws.

I would call acting somehow on this situation, that more than myself sees as bothersome, would be like "preventative maintenance"!

Are there better sites I am unaware of that have opened and have us in their sites?

How many times have I stated in my post that this is the best, the very best of t-girl sites in Canada!!

Yes, OK there?s lot?s of stuff here, and fun too, but there is far more of that stuff that is completely irrelevant to what this forum is about. If some girl starts to post a crotchet pattern every day will you consider that top-notch t-girl stuff? I doubt that!

Or maybe you?ll take up tatting and make doilies or something.

Once again, I am suggesting that care be taken to try to limit the amount of unrelated stuff that is presented lest it overtake the forum as it is now! That's all!

                            thanks

What do you consider top notch tgirl stuff?

I would be more than happy if someone started a crochet thread.
To some people crocheting is one of the most interesting things around, just not you.
Some might find tgirls and crocheting together the hottest thing they have ever heard of.
Even if it just one person, let them have their fun.

If all the stuff you like is still here, what does it matter that few other things you don't like are also here?
That is what doesn't make any sense to me.

If it is on this forum it is related to tgirls, otherwise it usually gets deleted.

Still i don't really see the quantity of non-tgirl related material you are referring to.
