I'm wondering why there aren't more girls on here that have a short video clip of themselves performing, maybe it's a discretion thing or maybe you want to keep something for the imagination but I'm a little surprised there aren't more videos
I recently travelled to Houston for work and decided to find a local girl down there for some fun, I couldn't quite make my mind up as there were a couple that really peaked my interest, then this beautiful black girl had a link to Xhamsternor something, it was like a porn trailer of her doing what she did best, I was sold immediately and booked an appointment, and I was not disappointed. I asked her about it and she said she paid a student a couple hundred bucks to film it and edit it, gave a couple guys discounts to let her use the video (no faces), all in all about $500 bucks spent, and her business was up 10 fold. Would love to hear some girls thoughts on this?....

There is a bunch of reasons:
1- Budget: Take a look on Shemale Canada. Check out how many girls use professional pics. That is basically the amount that can afford video production. A typical pornshoot takes 4-5 hours for a 15minute clip. A girl that prides herself on using selfies can't do selfies when shooting. My last 9 second video cost me 750$. The previous video I shot was over 1500$. When you include the cost of wardrobe, the pics, the set, hair, makeup, and any other cost my photo/video shoots run me close to 4000-5000$ each time I shoot. it should be easy to see that very very few girls can afford this, and since most of the girls that can afford this are doing well already, they won't feel the need to add video.

2- Camera Angles: Most girls have control over their image. As such, when a photographer brings her the pics for her photoselection, she is going to chose her best pics out of 200-1000 pics to come to 5-10 pics for release. You can't do this with video. If they are not confident with their entire appearance UNPHOTOSHOPPED then you cannot expect them to shoot video. Girls that take selfies control both the camera and the model. Many of them have no idea how to act behind a camera. They don't have photoshop to clean their image and you can see what they really look like.

3-Escorts and pornstars are two different professions. A pornstar gets paid for shooting video, while an escort has to hope that the video will make money. If a girl is confident with the money she is making, their is no reason for her to increase her business and therefore a video is a waste for her.

So I don't think we are talking about the same thing, I'm not saying spend thousands on a production....im sure all of the girls I've visited did their own makeup, dressed themselves, did their own hair and looked absolutely gorgeous.

secondly almost every girl advertising now has a short 10 or 15 second video already attached to the ad, and that was all I was getting at...for about $2 you can get a video editing app and cut together something short and sweet.

Also I'm sure every girl out there would rather have a bunch of clients blowing up their phone and then they can be picky who they meet rather than meeting someone just because they are the only one that answered the ad.

Plus I have no doubt that there would be plenty of willing actors

The problem is that some people think they know better when it comes to handling our own business.

Let me explain this, it all depends on whom you want to target as clients. I would never shoot straight porn because it is not how I advertise myself. I am a professional companion and target certain type of clientele. Not interested in the wankers etc.

Shooting a video as a promotion could be a good idea, but shooting explicit porn is a very bad marketing idea unless the girl is really into this line and would like to target clients who are into porn stars etc. You view it as a good idea because you prefer such approach but it is not necessarily so. I am sure that some of the guys in here would jump along the same lines, but what really matters is the clients with deep pockets who might not even know about the existence of these forums.

I don't think shooting a porn video and attaching it to their ads would be a good thing. Most girls take a lot of pride in themselves and if they chose to do a video of that kind, would want it done right and that would cost a lot to do. I've seen some pretty awful amateur porn videos and that would hurt them more than help them. Personally speaking, I would much prefer video promo clips where the girl does an intro which can be done with any webcam. Just sit at the computer and let prospective clients see and hear them promoting themselves. You can learn a lot about their personality traits, if they sound feminine etc. Some girls already do this. Others do clips on their phone, while others have clips of them out partying or walking around town etc. I don't find those quite as helpful when determining who to see but they never hurt their business, I'm sure.

I think that people don't get it and actually wont!

Putting out an amateur introductory clip is a turn off for many with the big $$$. Those types of clients are into sophisticated things in life generally. If a girl wants to target the cheap ones, she will be staying in a misery for the rest of her life, taking selfies from toilets, etc. because that would be the most panoramic view she can afford.

It is amazing how people can sit behind their computer screens and start portraying the best marketing strategy for escorts.

Interesting . . .

I did a few videos of ladies a couple of years back. They were not graphic in nature rather just the videos were photo montages of the particular girl featured.
I stopped with that though as I was unsure if there would be interest to do more but what I did make in the past was greatly appreciated and accepted. The problem that I had though when I made the videos was lack of material and my editting software was piss poor but that has now changed . I've acquired movie studio quality software and getting material from girls should be easier now.

If any girls read this and want to consider modelling in their own video montage let me know....of course I will approach a few girls myself that may be interested.
