Couldn't agree with you more Lani. Record low temps here in the Buffalo area. Have had enough. It's too cold to go out and snow blow my driveway.

I was east of Toronto over the last couple of days, and I had the pleasure of tackling a 331 ft monster of a driveway. I would have rather been in a hammock, catching tan but no, I was at the helm of a monster snow blower, clearing a path for humanity. LOL! I think at one point it was near -40, with the wind chill.

Why do they call it wind 'chill'? It doesn't chill you. They should call it wind 'blow-your-ass-away'. LOL! What's shaking Ray?

Unfortunately, Mother Nature is a cruel bitch who has no consideration for whether the victims of her wrath are men, women or children. And scientists have been telling us for years that the effects of global warming will alter our normal climactic patterns and fuel more numerous and severe storms, tornadoes and hurricanes. Bleak outlook I know but it is our new reality and only being prepared for these extremes will help us survive!

Places or cities I would consider to live are:
Hawaii..Seattle..Vancouver..San Francisco..Tokyo.
Why? you may ask, well..as much as I hate this kind of frigid weather, I am not a fan of hot and humid climate either, even though I came from a pacific region. I love Hawaii though.

But as much as I am also not happy when it's so hot and humid...I'll choose hot and humid over this torturing arctic temperature. it's okay if it's just for a couple of days, but this has been like forever! Aargh!
And it's funny because I love 'Frozen' and I love to sing 'Let it go!' Lol!
I even dreamt I'm Elsa..."The cold never bothered me anyway" but, unfortunately this one does! Hahaha.

Btw., I've been to those places and cities I've mentioned. San Francisco is where I have stayed the longest...several months.

Anyhow...Vancouverman, thanks for the invite into your city, it is a lovely place...very scenic. I am also sure about the kindness I will receive from you, if ever...

Sooner.. and I hope not later, we'll gonna have a pleasant weather like what you all having there in the west coast.

Lani, we have something in common. I too hate hot and humid weather. It takes away the little ambition I do have to do something. Thank God for air conditioning. I could never live in a place like Florida because of the high humidity. I have been to Hawaii a number of times and the breeze usually keeps it fairly comfortable. I would love to move there if it were not for the extremely high cost of living.
