This is a reality issue at the first place! Mixing of genetic women with trans women happens in so many private areas (e.g. spas, swimming pools exchange areas, etc). It all comes down to a perception issue.

Take a fem boy (no hormones even) and touch him with minimal make-up and throw a bikini on, and no single genetic woman would even bat an eye. Take a 40+ trans who just started hormones a month ago and put a bikini on, and all the issues would arise.

Can we blame genetic women for this? I don't think so as I don't see them naturally opposed to trans women. In fact, more often than not, they tend to be complementing and polite. There are cunts everywhere, but minority I would say.

I was looking for some pictures of Buck Angel the famous porn star, who was also born biologically female ( I was to post it last night but sleepiness prevailed ) I'm glad you brought this out. Besides I am not sure though if he is ( Buck Angel ) recognized legally as male by now and with male ID, though I'm sure he must be.

This legislation amendment is mostly built on unrealistic fears that some perverts would use the law to dress up as a woman no matter how unpassable and sit in the bathroom stall jerking off as they listen to women urinating in the stall next to them. However, laws based on extreme "what ifs?" and unrealistic fears are bad laws that violate the civil rights of the many. Better to deal with the perverts on a case by case basis rather than passing laws that make the lives of the majority of trans women and men difficult, who are just carrying on with their day at restaurants, shopping malls, bars, etc and occasionally need to use the washroom like everyone else.

Also the conservatives who kiss the asses of the "moral and religious" right wing feel they need to be seen to be doing something to save society from the evil influence of us deviants and perverts! Just like their bizarre new prostitution laws which makes it legal for sex workers to sell sex but illegal for their clients to buy it! Nagging questions...

Assuming...and just for arguments sake, that this proposed bathroom bill legislation is passed and becomes law, who among this two women if snitched by a mean person is in danger of being prosecuted, fined or be put to jail for breaking that law. If the guidelines is: if a person's chromosomes and the part of her anatomy, specifically her genitalia proven to be that of a person not allowed to use the WOMEN'S washroom and doing so therefore intentionally violating the law. And on the findings of the enforcers of the law, after a strip search or medical test needed in case it's elevated to the court of justice...Who do you think would get the brunt of this passed and enforced law?

I think we all know the answer; No matter how unfair and offensive it is for the offender.

Because there are mean people in this world...jealous, envious and mean spirited people, that could create problems for people they think is competing with them in business or personal lives...mean people who will snitch on other people, just to spite people. It's a small world after all... and you may find yourself at the receiving end of a unhappy person, who knows you or recognize you ( in the public Women's area or washrooms) and finds you violating this law and snitch on you. Now flipping into the real issue, the majority of trans women who have not yet received a governmental identification as females, In reality, genetic women don't bother about trans women who are fitting into their tripe. They don't need to be Hollywood stars, but simply blending a bit. If someone chooses to transition at the age of 40 or 50 yrs for example, they can't expect society to accept them the next day.

Superficial, non-sensitive, whatever the situation might be, the reality of every day to day life is that if someone is not blending, they are most likely going to receive a male pronoun. People don't know about what is inside when it is a brief restroom encounter, and they shouldn't be expected to do so.

So, a government issued ID is enough to show someone who is in doubt?
That would be cool then...as I thought, in the event that some troublemakers, who will try to snitch another person ( who knows the person and aware that the lady in the loo, wasn't really born with female chromosomes, and still with a male genitalia...but who is a holder of a valid government issued ID and who also is a certified transgendered or transexual )...and I thought that in the new bathroom bill it suggest that Anyone who isn't born a female and still has the anatomy of a male cannot use the facilities intended only for women. And if violated shall be fined and incarcerated.

So, I rescind the nagging questions in my mind. I think I missed reading that part...where an ID is suffice to clear the air, even if the nasty complainant insist that the Lady she will be complaining isn't a Lady in her book and is not convinced that the stipulated part of the bill is not violated ( as I feared that some people are so nasty to make trouble, especially from some (cis) women. As sometime ago, if I recall, a transexual who possessed a valid government issued ID ( whose passport is marked F ) who arrived at Lester Pearson airport was subjected to too much hassles and undue stress, I didn't followed what have happened to her case...anyone?...So, any judge ( who will take on this case, assuming this proposed legislation passed ) would throw out the case upon presentation and submission of valid government issued ID, case closed and game over?!...Thanks xoxJanexox!...this clarification and your input gives me a sigh of relief.

If the government issued an identification for someone as female, then unless they view them as female under law or they would deem to have issued a fraudulent document.

I guess you are right. I just have this qualms, that anyone who wants to out their enemies or who they perceived as enemy, whether it's in their business, social or personal lives, would have the ammunition if ever this stupid and ludicrous bathroom bill is approved.

I also remember an event that happened with Nina Arsenault. I believe, if i'm not mistaken, happened in the Toronto film festival.

They must have told Tommy's bodyguards about her...As we know, Nina is famous and a celebrity in her own right, and a gorgeous! one at that, and a lot of people, here and international can recognize her.

so...to make long story short, the bodyguards told Tommy about her, as whispered to them by those jealous nymph. And as she (Nina) was to follow them into the said area, one of the bodyguard stopped her and without further explanation barred her from approaching Tommy. But the regal part of this...Nina just took it all in stride and was just amused about the whole situation.... See! how bitchy some cis women can be. And having that ammunition in that proposed bill...a lot of lovely transgendered women, who are much more elegant looking and alluring than those cis women, could be embarrassed, harassed and given an undue stress...not to mention the legal threats.

No these things will not pass and it's retroactive to transgender rights progress. And I'm sure we can all multi-task and stand up for transgender rights specific issues as well as standing against civil rights violations in general like Bill C-51.

There is another simple solution. Genderless bathrooms. Nothing sexual should be going on in the washroom anyways. Sexual Predator excuses are invalid as a predator could be just as interested in little boys as he or she is in little girls.

This is the solution. Not wasting tax payer money on third gender or children's washrooms. We are all the same. 60 years ago we had coloured washrooms in the south. They made different washrooms for black people. Why? Today we look at that and we find that racist and hillbilly thinking. Yet, in 2015 we cannot see that it's exactly the same problem, and the solution is not divide people, but put them together.

Is it fair that you have to be passable to use a women's washroom? No. Do I like the fact that every dude that puts on a pair of panties thinks he is a Trans-woman? No. Do I want this sex driven group associated with me and my sisters? Absolutely not, they do more damage than good to my community. But, someone is going to scream "Civil Rights". A gender less restroom removes any of these issues, just like a washroom without judgement of Color did many years ago.
