What would you tell your younger self? (as an 'admirer')

The title pretty much explains itself. I'm not a huge fan of the term 'admirer', but please reply because terminology is really part of the question.

I'm new to these forums. The main reason I would say I joined is to hear from others and understand myself better as well. I'm relatively new to to this scene and realm of understanding my own sexuality. I would be lying if I said I wasn't damned confused at times. I'm hoping to hear how others have felt like I do and might have words of wisdom. Thank you.
