I'm not sure if people actually travel to go see the Pan Am games or if the visitors are mostly the athletes. It's not the Olympics. In that case business probably won't be up especially the way they have the traffic set up. At least they have that new train from the Airport now!

The return trip to Pearson in a taxi or Limo cold run you up to $120 in the past.
Hotels are still a little more downtown but if you watch for deals on hotwire and such you can do pretty good though.
