Thailand .
What can I say. All members who can scrape together $1,000 cdn for airfare and a couple of grand (or more if you want to be a high roller) for fun times and can get a couple of weeks or more off your work/life at home should do it and stop talking about it. It is seriously, a buffet of ladyboys there that is hard to walk away from... I can say that there are some very hot sexy tgirls her available and thats just fine. But I can also say there is a seemingly endless supply of them in Thailand. And like almost everything in the country , they are not expensive.... Bar fine of 400B ($10) and go from there... negotiate 1000 to 1500B depending on what your after (short time) or more for overnite (1500 to 2500) ... I had a LB for days and gave her 2000 a day and a tip after the few days we were together... she was allot of fun and took me to a temple in Bangkok, and to an Isan concert which was a hoot... then off to a street cafe and of course she knew the way to a local older hotel (had a short time and long time rate...lol) She was helpful , fun , cute and showed me a good time. She was freelance and found her online.

My first trip to Thailand.
The hotel in Bkk arranged for a private car (newer camry with leather/nav/wifi) to take me to Pattaya.. The cost ...1500B ...just under 50 bucks at the time. Cant get a cab from downtown to airport in most cities for that and I was travelling on a freeway here for over an hour...Not bad. Traffic was heavy into the city so we took a "secret road" said the driver... (we call it a short cut here.. we both had a laugh over that one)
The first night of the event as I joined in, was in Kings Bar in Pattaya... Plus it was Halloween, and because of the LBWVB party, it was wall to wall ladyboys... LBs were visiting form Bangkok so they were hitting the hot spots. It was being a kid in a candy store... Except all the candy was sweet ladyboy!
The party pretty much never stopped after that.... There were random Lb's in my room, in short time rooms going on and on... I was out paced by Crag, but this year now that I have gained my bearings having been there,,, I am a on a mission lol... we had some fun with a cpl of long term LB's going to Isan clubs/parties and rock and roll bars on walking street, houka bar, and other live music stuff. ANd the food was outstanding. We ate allot but good thai food. But its a tourist town so theres indian food, italian food, pretty much anything you want really. And in my experience, it was all very cheap. Beer was 65B average or so so just over 2 bucks... not bad.. in a bar.. I bought hard stuff for the fridge at 7-11 (no shortage of 7's) in the condo.
Now the condo was another cool thing. Some had a washing machine, mine did not though. But it was basically an apartment with everything I needed including a safe, wifi, ac with remote, led perimeter ceiling lighting with dimmer and many colours available (it was sexy blue allot!) balcony with ocean view from 21st floor, kitchen with amenities, and housecleaning. I dropped laundry off and had it cleaned for me. Cant recall the cost but it was cheap. I bought allot of clothes there mostly because it is a hot place so I sweat allot as one would... so I sometime napped in the hot afternoon and would shower and change. THIS TIME i will take a backpack only with me with a few items and essentials. I will buy clothes there to wear at the Pattaya Bazaar ( a giant quonset hut shape building with all the clothes/electronics or whatever you want for sale cheap... and luggage... you catch my snow drift...I bought thai made stuff their and the quality is very good, even in the Ray Bans... I bought billibog shirts an shorts and diesel stuff to. I am not a fashionista but they were cheap and looked ok.
The condo was about 1600B a nite so about 60 bucks, but we were right across from the beach practically. the sev was between the building and beach road actually..
I am going back this year and will meet up with Crag and whomever else makes it ... but guys seriously, you need to do this at least once. LB's aside Thailand is a wonderful place. There are temples and tiger zoos, island paradises all over and the people I generally found to be very nice and friendly. They are very respectful and generally very conservative. You know just writing this I am reminded of some of the people I met there... For instance, partying it up at an Isan club (Thai Folk ?country music, its different but very entertaining) a girl next to me, eating at the table asked about my friends, asking if they were LB's.. I sad yeas, she said cool, then offered me some of her food she was eating.. I was surprised and I was full so I said thanks but I ate. But really, very nice offer. The guard in the Condo was gay and loved the LB's we brought buy and was very funny.. told my LB friend that he wants to be a LB.. lol. But very casual security guy. I had a few massages on the ground floor of the condo too. The ground floor was condo rental office.....convenience store/restaurant.....laundry mat.... massage parlour ( did I mention 2 hour massage is $10... with a handjob... I always tip well ) and the pattern of business just repeated over and over to the end of the hall were the swimming pool is. This year however, I will find a new place as View Taly 6 is getting a new neighbour, a 28 story Katary Hotel.
So this year the party starts in Bangkok and ends up in Pattaya. I may do side side exploring after as time allows but I am looking forward to the adventure this year.
About the event itself.. It was stellar. i have picture too, as I was a shutter bug for Crag and was snapping away (400 pics i think) There was a spectacular buffet dinner after and a party after (one of many parties)
Many many late nites/early mornings and a few 4am second dinners or pre breakfasts whatever you want to call them lol.
What to bring, that I can think of now...
good footwear... I got blisters from my shitty old runners. left them in Thailand, and bought new Nikes and a good pair of walking sandals
A towel... Never leave home without a towel... Unless you flying first class, your ass will be sore after sitting on a cheap seat for over 12 hours.. I brought one home with me from Pattaya...
Headset and an adapter for Southern China (SC) airlines if that your carrier... Another lesson learned, China Southern a discount airliner fly ultra modern 787 Dreamliners uses low tech 2 prog headset plug... not sure why... But the flight was 960 Cdn so what can you say... No bar service but all the wine you can handle
Gravol or a sedative of some kind. Its a long flight... Load up on special brownies maybe lol (not recommended for carry on by the way)
There was no charger plug for a laptop the SC plane (needs 9 volts +, not usb) but they do have USB chargers so small tablet.pads etc ok.. There is usually a set of movies to watch , but I am bring some with me in my S5.....
Also I brought a second smart phone with me from home that I wasn't using, and while in Bkk, I got a tech guy in a mall to unlock it and I used a local carrier (AIS) for making calls locally. WiFI is always around so not usually an issue ... This way I did not have to worry about roaming etc and I did not care allot if the phone was lost/stolen/broken etc. The sim car was cheap and can get loaded at any 7-11...
