Suprisingly something positive being said here is also marred with a comment steeped in prejudice

I take offense to this. HIV has no favorite "peoples" and to say otherwise is in itself blind hypocrisy and a contradiction to the whole notion of AIDS awareness day. Further more this statement could be seen as promoting hate towards these two peoples you have described.

More stereotyping, bigotry and inaccurate information.
There are plenty of legitamate online resorces available with practical and accurrate information on the prevention of, and statistics regarding HIV and AIDS.
So far the comments posted merely show a strong discrimination of transpeople and the gay community. When infact we should be promoting awareness and safe sex practices.
Regardless of who you are, you are at risk.
Its that simple.

I think we are all saying the same thing just its the way we say it. Sex trade workers are a little more at risk,(broken rubbers etc....) also over sheer volume. How ever it only takes once , dont leave any thing to chance .
AND... if you are infected and going through alot of shit in your head think about being able to turn back the clock, keep your partners educated and play safe , you are then turning back the clock everytime for them.
