For non-trans escorts the pimp issue is apparently a thing, though I'm not particularly convinced that happens a lot in Canada.

For my own experiences with race, while I'm open to seeing anyone that presents themselves in a respectful manner, I will say that the vast majority of my clients are white, and almost all of the black, Indian, and particularly middle-eastern men who have contacted me either tried to push my boundaries, attempted to haggle, didn't even read my ad, or gave me wildly inconsistent information. I'm not sure why that is, and I try to be optimistic, but it is rather depressing.

You cannot tell a person's religion by looking at them, but I'm willing to wager that among Indians and Mid easterners who gave you trouble, you will find more problems with one particular faith group than others.

Traditional Canadian political correctness prevents me from specifying further. But I believe it is more of a religious issue than a color or race issue.
