Hello,

I am relatively new on here, very new to the whole TS TG world....I am a shy guy, so it took me a while to have my first encounter...I must say I did enjoy it.

I do not intend to offend anyone at all with this post, just a sincere question.....

Since I have been viewing this board, and other sites, I have seen several posts regarding STDs and HIV, and even gotten personal messages, that are warning me specifically not to indulge in my curiosity with TS women....almost making it seem like for sure I would get something if I played with one.

Now I do take things with a grain of salt, and recognize that due to the nature of the escort business, there is obviously a somewhat higher risk, however, I also view it as, due to this risk, the escorts actually get checked out quite a bit, and take the extra precautions....whereas a girl I pick up at a bar, may not do that, and may be more of a risk....

Anyway, I guess what I would like to know, is if anyone has any first hand experience with somebody catching something off a TS escort? or any escort for that matter? and if so, where they using protection? was it bbbj?

Suffice it to say this is a hot topic and it is disputed and debated by both sides, but I think I'll give my 2 cents.

The activities of using an escort (especially if they do things like bbbj, rim, anal bareback, etc.) are a high risk for any STD IMHO regardless of whether or not it is a TG or a GG. That's life, it is not geared towards males, females, transgendered or whatever, it is a lifestyle choice that causes one to be a higher risk than another. Casual sex and Swingers could be also said to be high risk activities. If someone gives you a statistic stating that there is a higher incidence of HIV among the TG community, where did that statistic come from? Even if it was true, there may be other factors that were not studied or divulged that were really at the root cause of the statistic. I remember in University, my prof told us when he was a grad student, he did some work for his prof for research. He used 5 methods to calculate a medical outcome for a double-blind study, 4 showed no significant results, 1 did. His prof told him to give the 1 that showed significant results as the outcome. True using that method did show significant results, but 4 of them showed that it did not. Statistics always should be taken with a grain of salt, especially since it CAN be manipulated to some degree.

Also, about Escorts getting tested, I think that is a good thing. But, something like HIV has an incubation period, due to current tests looking for your body trying to fight the virus. So they usually say get a test 3 months after last known contact. However, there have been cases, where it was negative at 3 months, but positive at 6 months. So even if an escort shows you a clean report, how certain can you be that they are still clean (especially if they engage in high risk acts, such as bbb. Anyone that tells you that the risk is very low for bbbj should have their head examined, yeah the risk is lower than some activities, but it is not none. What would you say to the one person who gets HIV from bbbj? Sucks to be you, cuz your the one that statistics doesn't like?

On the flip side, abstinence is the only way to be 100% sure not to catch an STD or HIV (except things like shared needles, etc.), but who's going to do that? :P So just limit yourself to lower risk activities, cbj and such, and you should be okay.

I scared myself shitless once when I was so heated with a TG that she shoved her bb cock in my mouth. Needless to say, I was scared out of my mind for 6 months...

I can well understand your lack of insight concerning the moral and scientific aspects of AIDS. Yes. The virus travels through humans of all sexual preference, creed, race, or color, but sexual acts between MEN are responsible for producing more transmitted AIDS cases than sexual acts between male/female and female/female COMBINED! YES! ANYONE can get hit in the head with a gavel, but if you deliberately stand under one that's hanging overhead by a thread for hours at a time, your chances of eventually getting a good rap on the noggin' dramatically increase. The good news is that just a little bit of research on your part will go a long way to alleviating your somewhat naive, yet astonishingly uneducated misconceptions on HIV and which group are the riskiest carriers of this plague!

Now, just to show you how magnanimous I can be, I'm going to HELP you to take the first steps towards understanding your surroundings. As a personal friend of God, I'll beseech the Allmighty in my prayers on your behalf. this is a very important topic. all we need to do is to be more responsible.I get checked every month for STD(which includes chlamydia trachomatis,harpes,neisseria gonorrhoeae,syphillis,from blood,urine,pharyax and anus.Also HIV and I keep all of the copies from last 2 years.nowadays especially HIV test is very simple.there is a new method called HIV RAPID POINT OF CARE TEST.its very simple, easy and you get the result in 2 minutes.
all of the clients should ask those tests results to the working girls before they make any arrangements.If the girl doesn't know what you are talking about or if she is not showing the results, then don;t bother her again. just my two cents...

Spoken like someone with an ulterior motive to defend buggery, and given your sexual practices, who wouldn't be sensitive about the subject of HIV. In your haste to defend your lifestyle, you're naively minimalizing the risks of unprotected male buggery. Statistics show that the overwhelming proportion of sexually transmitted contracted AIDS cases are propagated by male to male anal sex. Of course, it's your choice to openly advocate that this just isn't true, but you do so without at all knowing the statistical facts. Chances are that if you continue along your course of rampant unprotected anal sex, eventually, you'll become a statistic yourself, unless you've already joined those ranks with this type of devil-may-care mindset.

Testing works if the escort actually decommissons from further working as a escort and engaging in sexual practices, and dont forget its only valid from the time tested. If the escort isn't honest or has been with 1 or more clients since that test.....
well I think your all cleaver enough to realize there is always a potential threat regardless, testing or no testing.
Your best protection is either abstain altogether or **reduce** the risk and practice safe sex.
