Too bad about the jet lag but there seems to be no way around it when you fly nearly 24 hours to get there.
Even times I think I have avoided jetlag, it ends up hitting me like pile of bricks.
Now I pretty much plan to sleep most of the first 24 hours I get there, then I am fine.
There used to be a direct flight on Thai Airways from Los Angeles to Bangkok, but they cancelled it.
I'm not sure if there is any direct flights to BKK from North America anymore. Possibly one from NYC still.
The easiest flight I can find from Canada is always through Hong Kong. Once you get to Hong Kong it is only 2 more hours to Bangkok.
Not long I will also be hanging out with our buddy from Ladyboygold.com.
