Craigslist vs. Backpage?

Which is more reliable? Back page or Craigslist? Ive heard some horror stories about Craigslist and not just with casual encounters but with selling items and other things to. Ive heard back page is more trust worthy but I don't have any personal experience with either one...anyone got any past experience that could shed some light?

With you being in the US, things are probably a little different than here in Canada but I find that both sites are full of scammers, bait & switch and less then reputable providers. However, the good providers also advertise on those sites too so it always requires some patience to search out the forums like this one and other review forums and cross reference.
One thing about CL is many of the ads require contact via email because they don't post phone numbers and I quit doing that because I just get hit with spam from them. Usually nothing more than fake ads for the bogus "adult hook-up" sites.
Not sure how things are over there in Philly. Good luck, bro. Hope your Flyers get better.

i don't use either. birchplace.com is better, they don't have reviews, but vet their escorts so they are real. or adultwork.com is good too.

Backpages has plenty of crap but all the good ones do place their ads there so if you check them out on the forum before meeting, you can get the right ones. Its great for me as I can quickly look to see who is in my city this week as the ads are sorted by posting date.

SMC is good in the sense Crag will delete fake ads if he is made aware of them. But he obviously can't vouch for their services so you still need this forum. So, bad providers are on there but you can at least be confident the person in the photo is likely the person behind the ad.

I suspect the situation varies somewhat from one locale to another but in my local area, there being no working girls of any note, Craigslist seems to be the favourite of what I will call the local riffraff looking for a quick fix. BP also has plenty of trash in most other sections too of course, but in general, the local Escort section of BP is almost exclusively used by both varieties (GG & TG) of travelling girls/escorts.

Yeah, that is one reason I go for BP . It easily sorts by day and I can see what is up. I know who is real and who is fake pretty quickly so its easy for me Just to see who might be in town out of our reputable women who travel. The Vancouver area of SMC still has tons of old run down girls who are not even likely in the business anymore (several I met back in my early days before knowing about the forum and seeing their faces annoys me). Heck, the first one I ever met (way back in 2010 and was a disaster lol) still has a profile there and the last login date was 2010.

Believe it or not, BPs requirement to pay with bitcoin does weed out some of the bad ones(especially the ones with severe drug issues) because they just dont have the ability to do something like that.
