With all the talk about fake ads and girls trying to blackmail , harass etc I think it's time to get a burner phone or some other way of communicating , I've heard of texts apps as well but are they 100% safe . Also where can I buy a burner phone in GTA and how much do they cost ?

While ago, I got a cheap LG phone loaded with $25 of talk & text for 1 month from Chatr at London Drugs here in Vancouver. The total came to around $80.

Took almost 2 hours for the phone to work, they needed to run it through the system after initially setting it up in the store.

Phone is a piece of crap, no apps, just capable of making calls & texting ... but at least you have a temporary local phone number.

Just about any place that sells phones should have these.

Burner

Forgot to mention, there is an app called "Burner" that you can download and just use on your regular cell phone.

After signing up, enter an area code and the app will show you a list of available numbers under that area code.

Select which number you like, then the app will make calls using that number for around 5 days or so with an option to extend it.

Probably the cheapest option.

I've heard there are ways to still find out the real # with apps

There are things that can block calls from those apps. Some escorts can not be reached if you are using an app with a fake phone number.

Best is to go to 7-11, Petro Canada, etc... buy a prepaid phone. Just buy time cards as you need them.

Of course, if you are Walter White and are going to have issues if significant others find out you have 2 phones, the app is fine. Just keep in mind you may not get a hold of everyone.

Just buy any prepaid phone (i.e.. Chair, Telus) prices vary depending on quality of phone. There are some from flip phone style to androids. Walmart, best buy and other stores all have them. You carload them as per necessary with 10$ cards or you can load it months unlimited for 40$. The top up minutes can be bought at convenience stores and gas stations. You can hook the phone up yourself online under whatever info you want.

Almost everyone has old phones they no longer use.

You don't need the newest phone to get it activated and use it for a burner.
Just dig out your old blackberry or Nokia or something.
