As for getting pc parts, there are three places I go to
1: TigerDirect
2: Canada Computers
3: Tech Direct

One of these places will surely have the part you need. Depending on what programs you are going to be running, you can save yourself a few $$ by using a P4 chip.

Hi I have a Core 2 duo E6600 already it's very fast just as it is by the way I tired it for a bit in another computer but I decided to build a new one from scratch...hopefully I don't fubar it up! .

I looked on canadacomputers and it says they have 1 in stock in Vaughn...i'll call them in the morning but I have a feeling it's probaly on hold or something for someone

Never heard of tech direct but I will call them in the morning oh by the way if you want to order stuff cheap try these 2...VERY CHEAP WITH SHIPPING and 1 tax.

If Tech Direct is what I am thinking it is another front for NCIX. NCIX is great to deal with, I've bought a lot of stuff from them with never an issue. Biggest issue is waiting for stuff to ship from Vancouver. Benefit is not PST :-)

Hey people I called tech direct + everyone else and they don't carry EVGA or they are sold out....tigerdirect website is kinda deciving because they don't stock most on their site and it comes from windsor+ they take like 2 days to process the order


hey Far2 you are right about the one tax...it is rocking! Maybe try the directcanda.com(vancouver) because they have Air $9.99 shipping (Air means - Purolator ) So thats pretty good. Is NCIX purolator too? I never tried them yet but they seem to be the most popular.

Here is the temps I think it's ok...there are 4 fans right now though The ones in the front and back are 120mm....but they are silly loud will have to change for something quiet.

direct canada and ncix have the same owners. my understanding is that while ncix prices can be higher than direct canada, their customer service dept is better on returns, etc.

i usually deal with direct canada myself ... pricing is competitive, you get free shipping on orders over 300, and you save on PST. so far i havent had any problems dealing with them.

did you check tiger direct lately? site says that they have evga in stock.

best site for searching out deals -----> redflagdeals.com

i had my inventory selected for my new rig and just ended up scrapping everything cuz of my monitor. i got a great deal on a dell 24 ... but now ended up dropping my inventory for more expensive junk to display at 1920 x 1200
