Ok . There was some talk on this recently. Some girls use Photoshop some dont. We all know that guys see girls for the looks and of course girls want to appear immaculate but sometimes too much is too much. Maybe this poll can give both sides ideas as to what each is really looking for?

Me? I am not a fan of photoshop but dont mind if its used to cover blemishes ...like scars or blurry spots

Obviously altered photographs indicate to me that the individual is being dishonest. When I see this kind of ad I automatically move on to the next one without even considering it. Correction of blemishes is also rather deceiving, though perhaps not quite as bad. The actual goods being advertised should always be shown in the photograph! A good photographer can provide actual photos which emphasize the good features of a model without being dishonest in any way.

For example, if you are looking to buy a used car and you see a photo ad in the paper of a car, in what appears to be very nice condition, you may decide to go to view it. When you arrive you notice a that it is grubby, a fender has been crumpled, there’s a dented hood, a wheel cover missing, many rust spots and a cracked windshield, you know that you have been misled by the advertiser, who was afraid to show a current photo of the goods because, had he, then you would not have bothered to go to see it..

So, when you go shopping for anything, whatever it might be, a car, CD’s, televisions, Tgirls, etc. you do not expect to be offered something that is different than what was pictured. Old Timothy Eaton built a huge multi-million dollar empire on his catalog sales all across Canada because people could trust that the goods were exactly as advertised or, if they were displeased in any way, a full refund would be given, no questions asked.

I feel the very same way about the girls photos. If, when I go to see a girl, I find that the girl is not exactly as shown, then I feel that I have been duped, deceived, had the wool pulled over my eyes etc., etc. ( I‘m sure you get the idea). She has deceived me, even before we have met, so what do I suppose she may do to me after making a payment on the goods?

I vote for honesty!!!

This is too funny, every photo you see in any magazine, billboard and on many movies is using correction software or photoshop to enhance the final product. From movie stars, music stars, politicians to beer ads this is pretty standard stuff and has been going on for eons whether through airbrushing by hand or using various software. Ask yourself, why go through so much trouble to photograph a can of tuna, and yet it is done.
Many of the ladies you see in ads here in Toronto can be seen first hand at GoodHandys. The biggest reason why I went there and promoted the club so enthusiastically on this forum was to get you fellas to come out and see us first hand.
This topic is brought up over and over again. I would strongly suggest you go to GoodHandys and see us ladies in person before you start complaining/or assuming.
Unless your a photographer you probably have no idea why such software is used and to simply state " oh, thats photoshopped " is making a huge uneducated assumption.
Check us out first hand. You may be surprised by how many of us look even better in person.

Our superficial society demands the appearance of  perfection in products that are for sale.I work in the advertising industry and have watched a DOP spend three hours lighting a glass of beer, seen prune juice added to  cola so that the colour is improved. Have you ever bought a frozen pizza that looks anything like the photograph on the box?
Professional application of make-up can do just as much to improve a girls appearance as Photoshop, are the neysayers going to demand that girls only show photos without make-up.
Certainly some girls have their photos touched up ,and if they go too far it is usually fairly obvious, and if that concerns you, you go elsewhere. Getting rid of a pimple or a scar etc. is totally acceptable in my opinion.
As Shelby points out  many girls look much better in person, they are not all photogenic, but ultimately it's not about how they look, it's about sexual chemistry. Look through the reviews, it is the stunningly beautifull girls that tend to receive less than enthusiastic notices, and the girls that are 6's 7's and 8's that blow guys minds [amongst other things]
So get your asses down to Goodhandys and  see if that stunning little princess has her head stuck up her own ass,and if that girl that looked a bit plain on Eros gives you a boner as she walks up to you at the bar.

Adobe Illustrator, Arcsoft Photo Suite,the archaic Corel programs offer some photo manipulation. Heck, even Windows "Paint" Meh...theres more than the popular Photoshop program people can use but what you gonna do? :wnk:

Ive seen some ladies personally. All of them were gorgeous and had no need to use Photoshop in their photo portfolio.

And yeah, ya gotta do what ya gotta do but this is after all just a poll. Dont sweat it. Sit back, relax and just vote if you wanna

Out of all the pictures I've seen I personally think that Lola has the best portfolio out there.

Well toban thats part of the reason I think Lola has the best portfolio out there but honestly ALL the ladies have great photos. The studio/model shots they have are awesome too

I like Lola's pictures though because of the variety. If you go to www.theredzone.com and compare her pics to all the other ladies you'll see what I mean. Lola has pics at the park,on the pool table, on the beach and on the bed etc.... She is in different surroundings. Not many other girls I see are in so many different environments like Lola is.

I wouldn't mind seeing the ladies having photos by a tree or by a statue or something.
