Great Show - very professional

I went this year and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Thailand is not an expensive country to visit and they are very welcoming to tourists. Looking forward again to 2018.

Yes if it happens, I'll be there. For sure.
If it doesn't happen, I'll still go for a trip, just for the fun of it. Waiting for a confirmation of the tournament before booking anything off work.

I wouldn't worry about November in Pattaya it is a great time to go.
It is the start of the high season, mid-high season some call it.
The rain stops about the end of October so it is hot but not too hot and drier.
This time hotels are not too expensive and you get a nice room in Pattaya starting at $20 a night.
The Ladyboys all return around this time from the country as the rice season is ending.
Pattaya has a couple Las Vegas style permanent shows Tiffany and Alcazar so there is ladyboys everywhere in Pattaya.
Not to mention Pattaya has around a dozen or more dedicated ladyboy bars, not to mention dozens more bars that have ladyboys on staff.
Ladyboys work at 7-11 and the shopping mall and everywhere in between.

The Ladyboy Volleyball is always either the first or second weekend in November, usually by February they announce it.
The event is on a Saturday and that is the last party of the whole thing that night.
There is parties at every bar the week before the event in Bangkok and Pattaya.
So if you want to get the whole experience you should plan to be there a week before the event.
Most often the parties start around Halloween.

The other event in Thailand is the Loy Krathong celebrations.
This is the lantern and candle festival and is a real big deal in Thailand and a statutory holiday.
In 2018 Loy Krathong is on November 23 and it is a huge party in Pattaya and elsewhere in Thailand.
So the ideal dates to catch it all would be October 30 - November 25.
I expect the volleyball will be on Saturday November 10 and in that case the pre-parties would start around November 3.
The pre-volleyball parties are good because they are not the usual grind and pressure at the bars and they have free food.
The bars are more fun as usual because it is a party.
