    DECEMBER 17, 2004
INTERNATIONAL DAY TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST SEXWORKERS

Sex Professionals of Canada (SPOC) will be hosting a gathering to commemorate the second annual International Day to End Violence Against Sex Workers.

Sex workers' rights groups from all around the world will be staging actions to shed light on the targeted violence that sex workers are all to often victims of. This day is also to remember sex workers who have been murdered, like Cassandra Do, Lien Pham and Anne Fernando; all of who were killed in Toronto last year, and the murders remain unsolved.

In the need to raise awareness, Sex Professionals of Canada will hold a panel discussion where the curious, advocates and the media will get a chance to hear the sex workers' perspective. Also, we will be having a party to celebrate all sex workers.

What: Panel discussion, press conference and party. With performances by Sasha Van Bon, King Size Drag Kings and DJ Miss KLC.

    Who: Sex Professionals of Canada.

Where: Buddies in Bad Times Theatre at 12 Alexander Street (2 blocks north of Carlton, and just east of Yonge).

When: Friday December 17, 2004 at 7:30 pm

Love is blind... that's why men just feel their way around.
