I was married to a trans woman who was on homones, and it was a roller coaster ride in terms of moods and emotions. Same with any other trans friends I've had who were on hormones. The ones not on hormones, very stable.

Not sure if you had got services from them, but with my own experience working and then trying to transition to dating someone who used to be a client it rarely ever works.

In the back of my mind I always feel that perhaps they dont actually like me for anything but sex, since thats how we initially met, which kinda makes it hard to determine what a persons intentions truly are.

Hormones doesn?t make me crazy, I find I?m a calmer person on them and more at ease, but there are different ways girls take hormones.

For example, I take it in patch form which is usually more rare compared to pills/needle, but with the patch it is more controlled delivery compared to something like the needle where they inject a bunch all at once and when it starts to run out before the next needle moods can swing lol...

I get messages non stop from men looking to date and not be a client but personally I just can?t do it, my work comes first and I look at it as a business and job, I have seen a few clients for free after our initial meet because of the connection between us, but never do I commit to longer term, and if a guy becomes to clingy or trys to intefer with my work, he goes right back to being a paid client.

I?ll worry about long term after I?ve finished all my surgeries, college, and set myself up etc. but its good you are trying to openly date trans women, I wish you good luck and hope you find the girl for you!

Then I saw there were responses to my replies. I miss both those girls. Had a great connection with them. Wish them well and the doors open to chat if they like. Was helping them with things like getting ID changed and assisting a bit with necessities. Anyway I don't regret a miniute. Fond memmories.

The ones on hormones can be extremely moody, bitchy and just miserable to be around. They remind me of my ex-wife when she would get PMS every month. Tried to make sure I was out of town or better yet out of the country..lol..not kidding on the last one.

The ones I know that are taking hormones were doing the needle. Not sure why someone would choose needle or pills or a patch. Kylie commented the patch has a more controlled delievery so not sure why tgirls would want a needle or pill thus getting a full dose.

The ones not on hormones are normal and sane.

Yeah I get 100mg/day everyday I wear the patch. Where as the pill/needle process the hormones differently in the body and they inject a large dose of estrogen all at once (usually for 1-3month period) with needle.

At the end of the needle timeframe the estrogen could be running out in the body, or during the first part the estrogen is increased high! Which makes levels go up and down. Also higher risk of blood clots with pill/needle.

The only benifit I see personally is not having to have a plastic sticker on your body that sometimes requires multiple tegaderms to stay on near the end of the week.
