  • Worried about HIV

Been doing this a long time. Always played it safe, always got tested.
Never had any STD (except when I was 19, she was a slut).

Last weekend saw one of the girls here. First time with her, everything went well. We both did mutual BBBJ and then she topped me with protection.

I went to the washroom to wash up and I noticed something. I was not snooping, but there were pills on the counter that said Emtricitabine / Tenofovir. When I googled this I saw it was used to treat HIV.

Now I am worried I may have it. I read it won't show up for at least 3 weeks so I need to wait for tests but I came here to ease my mind...or make it worse.

I guess it's possible to get HIV through BBBJ? I did not see any blood. There was no semen release outside of the condom, not including possible pre cum..

    I dunno...

It is also used to help prevent high-risk people from contracting HIV.

You will likely find out that, she is taking it as a protective measure against contracting HIV.

If she was on Prep and used a condom during intercourse, your chance of contracting HIV is essentially zero. Unprotected oral sex while on Prep is also essentially almost zero

          emtricitabine-tenofovir aka brand name truvada

          https://www.truvada.com/

She's likely taking it to prevent HIV infection if she gets exposed.

To help reduce the risk of getting HIV-1 infection when used together with safer sex practices. This use is only for adults who are at a high risk of getting HIV-1. This includes HIV-negative men who have sex with men and who are at high risk of getting infected with HIV-1 through sex, and male-female sex partners when one partner has HIV-1 and the other does not.

            can someone remove this account?

anyways, she's on PREP. it's an HIV preventative pill with 99.9% effectiveness. My ex gf was an escort and she took. I also take it. If you have a drug plan, you may as well go to the doctor and get prescription for it as well.

if anything, this is the girl you WANT to see.

Probably a good chance that you?ve contracted something. Hopefully not the big H. Get yourself tested and hope for the best but be prepared for the worst.

That would be pretty scary. Probably preventative, but people don't have to tell you if they have HIV, as far as I know. A lot of people get tested regularly and have results that they don't mind sharing though. I think there's a six month window of getting an accurate test too. I'd get tested in six months, and then again in a year, and be careful in the meantime. This may sound weird, but if you two really got along, I wouldn't turn it into a huge issue. Heck, I'd probably go back for another BBBJ asap and maybe casually ask about the medication halfway through, saying that I wanted to ask before swallowing again and in case the condom mysteriously disappears, but that's just me... >> If she asks anything, do the magician's coin trick and pull a condom out from behind her ear, it gets them every time. Some good perspective from others too.

p.s. In all sincerity, I hope it's just a close call/scare and not something worse.
