How many of you risk bareback, always tell myself I?m not going to do it, always end up doing so.
    I know it?s not clever.

I don't think many people here would admit to BB play if they did do that. And if you are not on Prep you are really rolling the dice and risking the health of not just yourself but of any other intimate partner you have. And remember there are other STI's that don't show symptoms making it far easier to spread those diseases. I have one friend who was unknowingly HIV positive for 6 years before her immune system collapsed and she had to be hospitalized with three major secondary infections. It took 4 months of antibiotics just to clear those secondary infections.

Not careless at all. She is very monogamous, and the person that infected her was the only partner she had in the last 7 years. Also, she lives in a country where HIV testing is not easily available.

Okay, sorry. So, was her partner having unprotected sex with many people, and never got tested?

Who knows. She thought she was in a monogamous relationship. It is possible he was only sleeping with her and he was undiagnosed as HIV positive
