Do you feel that the porn industry is getting stale?

Whether it's Straight, gay, transgender, etc types of porn, up until recent times you had a small amount of big stars in each field. You had a few known studios and a couple of smaller ones. Scenes that came out from these select few were highly looked forwards to and exciting. It was like waiting for a Christmas gift.

It seems especially in these times that there's almost an overload of people trying to become a pornstar and/or saying they're one. Do one amateur video (that's really what most of them are) and then somehow they think it earns them the coveted title.

It's almost like the industry is oversaturated these days and besides from a few mega companies monopolizing everything (b.bros, p.hub come to mind) and a few male talent that just seems to never go away, it's becoming very stale in my opinion.

Would love to hear what others opinions are.

Nope, we will always use it and it will become more innovative. It may transform with technology though. VR porn or interactive porn, etc.
Just like sex toys are not what they used to be. Mmmm... toys...

I agree about the amateur porn. If the content is ten minutes, then nine minutes is spent at two naked people without expression staring at the camera. It's beyond boring.

The profitability of porn has really decreased (as crag mentioned), which means the actors dont earn as much, and a lot of big names have gone to "onlyfans" sites.
Istill get on pornhub or reddit a few times per week, porn is still watchable
