Probably more a social issue than anything, but also part of this is a fantasy, most of these girls we see are 9s and 10s. Reality is different. Trans girls e the exact same as ggs. Yes. Its a real hard part of being trans and seeking an authentic relationship. Most of the guys they will come across are either embarrassed to introduce them to their personal life, or only care about the sex/cock/sex object fantasy. Works fine for escorting but not so much for dating.

And you are right. If I show up at a social event and say "this is my boyfriend Steve", nobody will blink an eye here. If I show up and say "this is my girlfriend Janice", and its clear she is transgender people get weird or cringe at times. So, even guys who are able to bring trans women into their personal life still have this fear if she isn't 100% foolproof passable (whatever that may mean).
