Always been a Habs fan when I was growing up and seeing great players to play the game in LaFleur and Robinson in the 70's. Carbonneau and Naslund in the 80's. Roy and Richer in the 90's and now Koivu and Kovalev.

What I don't understand is how some people would rather see the Pens or the Sharks or even Philly take it all. Why? Bring the cup back home....LOL..LOL

Even though most teams have many Canadian players I'd still rather have the cup raised in Canada. Been far too long since the cup was in the Great White North. What is it now...15...16 years I think.

Yes, it was back in '93 when Habs last won the Cup. It's time that we win again. Just in time for their 100th anniversary in 2009. Go Habs go!!!!!!!!!

Snoodle, the system you are referring to is not working is the only one you have. If you think that anarchy will change it, you're wrong. The system you want will become one where only the strong will survive. The strong will rule the weak. Hmmmm, I think I may like that new system. The days when we used to club them over the head and bring them back to the cave. We'd hunt they'd cook and they never ever back talk us. (sorry, I got lost in the moment). The point is, if you don't like a system, do something to change it. One person can make a difference. It jsut takes a special person.

Rantsalot, being an ex-Montrealer, I find that most Montrealers somehow think they are different than the rest of Canada and don't really acknowledge themselves as Canadians. Not until they need something from the Feds. This is why I don't care if they are the Canadian team to win the cup. I don't even think that Price is what everyone thinks he is. He is on a lucky streak. Remember Steve Penny I think was there surprise goalie for a Cup run. What happened to him? I think what they do have is alot of experience behind their bench with guys that know how to win Cups. But agains animals like the Flyers, that is tough to defend when Montreal has no tough guys. At least Pittsburgh has some grinders and fighters. Price gets tripped by Downie, and nobody kills him? Hal Gill went after Avery the other night. Go HAL. Anyways, HABS SUCK.

ya i was pissed last night when downie skated by the rookie in net and gave him a shot and the team didnt do diddly squat,i just cant see that happing in the western conference without an all out brawl.

The teams that are doing well in the West aren't the tough teams though. They do look real strong too. Dallas and Detroit will be a great series. I still want Montreal to beat Philly. And then Pittsbrugh to beat the hell out of Montreal and shut everyone up. If Pittsburgh wins the next game it is the first time that a team won 8 straight in the first two rounds.

dont blame begin it was a clean hit albeit alittle late but not a penalty with 5 minutes or less in a tie game,blame the ref who decided the game on his own.
