  • Town Inn on Arthur St

It has been suggested to me that the Town Inn on Arthur St. near Bloor & Yonge is a good and affordable place to stay in downtown Toronto. Their fully equipped suites run about 119 for Queen and 129 for King. Not bad pricewise.

I normally stay at Comfort Suites but this seems to be a more reasonable alternative with separate B.R., L.R., kitchen etc.

Does anyone have any information on the Town Inn, e.g. is it well kept and most important, is it "Escort Friendly". I prefer outcall visits, so can a girl simply walk in without any difficulty?

I stayed at the Town Inn years ago, but have been in there several times since. Used to be an apartment building so you get some type of suite with a kitchen too.
A little run down but they were renovating.
        100% TS and gay friendly.
Many tgirls stay there acutually because of the neighbourhood on Church.
Also tgirls live in the buildings all around there, plus it is just up from goodhandys and other joints.

I'd rather stay at the Holiday Inn Express on Lombardi rather than the comfort. It is newly renovated and free breakfast, internet etc.

Truly, the best way to get a hotel in downtown Toronto is hotwire.com
Any 4-5 star hotel under $100 US is a great deal, you just can't choose your exact room type until check in.
The only time they don't have deals is weekends when huge events are on.
I have stayed in almost every 4-5 star hotel in DT Toronto and have never once been hassled about bringing shemales into them.

          Thanks, craigyB

          - for your suggestions!

Recently, I have felt that the Comfort Suite rooms were getting a little shabby and needed some upgrade work too. I do not require luxury accomodations, but I do like cleanliness and a pleasant environment for me and my "visitors".

In light of the negative comments about Town Inn, despite the excellent location, I will try hotwire and see what I can do there.

The Holiday Inn express is 1 block from goodhandys.

The only 3.5 star hotel i have booked on hotwire got me the Novotel Esplanade which is about 5 blocks south of goodhandies.

Never have I got a bad 4 star hotel room on hotwire.
Most often you get the Sheraton but also get Sutton Place, westin, marriott.

            The Intercontinental is 4.5 star.
