I agree with you that we all have the right to choose who we sleep with. However when you charge for it, it becomes a business and in Canada it is illegal to deny someone a business service based on race. It is highly unlikely that anyone would make a formal complaint to the human rights tribunal but it is always possible.
The difficulty is we are mixing a highly personal act with a business & businesses are required to conform to certain laws.
Of course if someone did challenge this, it would make for an interesting case. We would start to examine if someone could be refused service as a client based on their gender i.e. could a straight male escort refuse service to a prospective male client? Would a gay male escort be able to turn down a female client?
