Why are so many providers dumb?

Many providers keep their ads up saying they’re working, when in fact they are not. Why keep your ads up if you’re out for lunch, shopping or not available? It’s lazy and unprofessional. Happens a lot.

Yeah around lunch time, or sometimes around 3pm, or sometimes at midnight. All kinds of times. Also, many are too stupid to say whether they’re too/vers/btm, or will just post location as TORONTO. Toronto is huge. State main intersection at least. There’s been times i planned or booked the night before, then they say they forgot when I’m about to leave for the appointment the next day.

I understand that many are very professional, but there’s many that aren’t. I also know several providers that are always very loyal. I’m talking about the ones that aren’t.

Also, i work in trades, and i always show up as fast as possible, or return calls asap. Business hours also stated.

Yeah, I just really would rather not damage someone’s business. These people haven’t ripped me off, but have wasted my time on a few occasions. Anyway I’m done venting, and I’ll refrain from calling these providers from here forward. I guess they’ll figure it out on their own.

PS: another peeve is when they answer a text a day later. Happens quite a bit.

The only “dumb” thing is this thread. Providers have lives and shouldn’t have to be available on stand by 24/7 despite their ads being up. Grow up!

Never had that problem. Usually when they’re busy, they dont answer. For me its a good sign. That mean they dont rush anything and they surely don’t answer while they’re in a session...

Obviously I give notice. If they’re not working, they can simply post “not available”. Too much effort though, I guess. Or replying a day later lol. Lazy

Fact is, some providers are great, some not.
