Barrel dancing requests

Considering how I don't make it to Goodhandy's all to often because of the distance and travel arrangements I have to make I always have a blast when I eventually get there. Love seeing the girls and the dancing on Thursdays. Always great.

Now here's an idea....some may say WTF and some may say WTF but in a positive way.

Idea: Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the girls dance to a 3 song set of music of their choice. At least that's how I remember it. Cool. So I got to thinking well what if I chose the music instead. You know. Make a special request from one of the ladies to dance to some of my favorite songs.
Laugh all you want but I'm serious. Is it really that strange if you think about it? No not really. If it would mean giving a little donation hey I'm game.

I AM NOT SUGGESTING 50$ a song....FORGET THAT. Something reasonable.

I'm not joking about this. I've thought about this for a while.

Of course it would make it real easy for the DJ and improve your chances of it happening if you burnt your own CD with the 3 song set you want the girl to use. Maybe a small donation for the DJ would help too.

You know what? WHY NOT? I worked as a dj before and know how little appreciation I would get sometimes. So yeah....and I really hope the ladies are reading this cus I am serious. I could make a list of songs and burn it myself or you could burn some yourself and hey...give the dj a little too.

Well Lisa glad you'd be up for it. So far that's 1.

As the days go by and more people read this perhaps more girls will latch onto this idea and they'll voice their interest.

Well, I bring down my own CD to dance to, because it's so much easier for the DJ to just pop it in and press play - trust me, she loves me for it. But I also do that because I have a bit of a routine that goes with the music, and the music I listen to is different than the tunes they normally play at Goodhandy's.

I'm really not a very good dancer, but I do okay with my own tracks. A lot of the other girls are in the same boat; they only really like to dance to one particular style.

That said, I'm always up for something new, so I'd be willing to give it a try. Bring down a CD, tell me what I'd be dancing to, and we can probably make it work.

Just had a better idea. I figure that perhaps I should just post 10 songs up here. I have some ideas of tunes Id like to hear and that way it would give an idea for the girls to be better prepared for a routine.
