Idk what that’s about is she trying to blackmail people. I have nothing to hide. Everyone that knows me knows I would sleep with transgenders and escorts, but this is a little weird.

Why does Maldita require clients to show their pictures?

I think it's weird too, but I think she's popular enough and reputable enough to warrant it. It's not entirely unheard of. I think escorts in the states can be even more discerning and ask for "references" too. I don't think I've ever sent a photo but I've FaceTimed a couple girls before, even if they could have been screen recording.
I saw Maldita once and wasn't into it, so I wouldn't see her again especially if she put up more obstacles like this. But I don't think you have anything to worry, especially if you don't think she has any blackmail leverage over you. I think SPs might do this for:
1) Safety. Try to get a vibe of the guy, see if he looks clean and normal.
2) For their own personal satisfaction. Might deny guys they find especially ugly.

There are multiple reasons for an SP wanting a picture of you.
First, there are guys that are time wasters so providing a photo helps to verify that you are serious about seeing them.
Second, having said the above there is also a downside to providing a picture. Many of these SPs will do a reverse image check on your photo (also reverse lookup of your phone number), like Goober does in some of these threads with LL ads to verify if they are real, to see if you are for real and again not a time waster.
However, the dark side to this is if you have any social media accounts, pictures of you online from work, social engagements etc they will see who you are, know your real name, know the name of your spouse, children, business you work for etc.
Google your name and phone number separately and see what comes up. Likewise, use google to do a reverse image check on a photo of yourself and see what comes up. You will be surprised and possibly shocked by how much information is online about you. Crag being an IT guy can most likely give more detailed comments about all of this and how the internet is your 'fremeny' i.e. friendly enemy.
The downside to the photo provided, which they can save to their phone forever, and your phone number is that it can leave you open to exploitation by them especially if they want something from you in the future because they are having a tough time financially.
I have provided pictures in the past to SPs but stopped when an SP showed me how she could find out all sorts of information about a client from their phone number but more so from a photo. Phone numbers are easier to disguise however, a photo is not. Nowadays with everyone always posting photos of themselves online via social media, group pictures etc you are leaving yourself wide open to exploitation by SPs or anyone else for that matter.

perhaps she is viewing escorting differently (she has been at it a long time), and wants to filter out some people she would find absolutely unappealing to have sex with. I think this notion that an escort should take all comers isn't realistic; not everyone can get their junk to work and be all passionate if they are with someone they are absolutely disinterested in.
Who knows, but the easiest thing is if the guy has a "no pic sending" policy, stick to it and see someone else.

You should see the requirements of the gg sps on tryst.link in order to set up an appointment. They want references, LinkedIn profile or other social media accounts or a photo of government issued ID. I wonder if they’ll start asking for resumes soon? Hopefully tg sps won’t go down this path.

Currently, I think unless it is some superstar porn girl anything beyond your number and maybe a photo if you are comfortable shouldnt be shared. If someone asks for more than that, walk away. Their business would dry up fast if they got too invasive so don't play along with it.

I get SP safety but I am not giving a SP this type of information.

Wouldn’t it make more sense for both to just webcam/FaceTime each other for a minute or two? Both parties can feel comfortable and at ease with each other without feeling like either one is giving up anonymity. If someone is offering to pay me $400 for an hour of my time, you bet your butt I can take a minute or two to webcam without it being a burden

What I described is a trend I am seeing in the US. I am noticing some Trans SP's are starting to screen in the US. The US Market is different than Canada. SP screening is for "their" safety. Facetime/video chat does not tell the SP what they want to know.
I talked to one SP, who does not really screen, about screening etc. She told me she is arrested about once a year related to her work as a SP. An SP who ask about employment and verifies employment makes them more comfortable you are not a cop who will arrest them.
I have spoken to SP's in the US and Canada. There are guys who do not treat the SP's well... this should be no surprise. I guess knowing personal details about a client provides some assurance for the SP you will treat them with respect. I assume it is fear of retaliation from an SP.
The alternative is provide 2 recent SP verifiable references. Not all SP's will be a reference. So if I use SP A and B and one does not reply... I have to come up with another reference.
I am just describing what I am starting to see in the US. If you want to play with a SP who screens... that is part of the price. The actual screening process varies by provider.
I am a dual citizen and see SP's in Canada and US. I prefer to see SP's in Canada and screening is one of the reasons why.
