There is no doubt now about being able to trust her more. Time and again I say be FAIR and even better be HONEST. Yeah, sharing any kind of medical record is asking a lot. Even something small like an educational record is still asking people for much as its way to personal.

You can say "I'm clean" only so much until people begin to question it. Even if you are some people will still have some doubt unless you have proof. Debate all you want. Clean means CLEAN by all medical professionals and infected means INFECTED. I even asked my doctor a few weeks ago when I got tested and he said there is no 2 ways about it. Unfortunately I don't have my records to post them otherwise I would. My family physician charges 50$ to get a copy of any medical record on file had I gone to a clinic they would've been free. Hopefully next time.

All well and good but the truth is that her posting this was not with the thoughts you had in mind. This posting came about after a nasty situation on another post that i believe was deleted.

In my mind it was still an attack on other girls in a way.

While tests are great and everyone should have one, they only are valid the day it is done. Providers are seeing many customers and are not being tested after each one. So between the present and the time of the test anything could have happened.

The clinician [doctor, RN, social worker, counsellor etc] may advise you that your test was -ve, but later testing is suggested. So, as directed by the staff, you go back for a second test x months later, and still receive a negative result. But unfortunately, during this time the virus had still not produced sufficient antibodies for the test to detect its' presence. Another -ve result is received! But are you really negative? Nope!

The moral of MY rant: The reliability of the results is determined by the time (date) of the exposure and the date of testing. The generally accepted time required for the development and appearance of antibodies in sufficient quantities for the tests presently in use to detect them, can be at least three months, and can sometimes take even longer.
