  • warning for the street meat crawlers

Last night the cops set up a RIDE checkpoint at the 2 exits to the
Maitland /Homewood promenade, once you turned in off Wellesley there was no way out.
It was my first visit for many a moon, after a disappointing Goodhandys ,[ no Ebony girls 'cept for Ashley whose a complete waste of time] I decided to do some window shopping. Do the cops do this frequently?
I ended up on the wall outside Georges Play where I was entertained by Miyiko and her friends who were being 'absolutely fabulous' strutting their stuff as only a gang of Black teenage girls can. So the night was not a total waste.
you're only as sick as your secrets.

It still amazes me that people would risk driving their vehicle in that area at all?

The law allows for them to confiscate your car, not to mention John school.

Is a quick thrill or drive by really worth the automobile you have spent alot of money on?
Addtionally your license plate is a dead giveaway as to who you are, don't think you are not being tallied and added to the statistics.

Why you wouldn't park your car several blocks away and walk there, is beyond me.
So much safer to do this, if you must go out there.

While I don't argue the points you make , I don't think that passing through the zone a couple of times a year to check on the action, or lack of it, will lead me to the electric chair. Though the police state is 'in the mail' it is not here yet.

Not usually but if you are there and they decide to stop you and take you in, how are you gonna fight it? Will you have witnesses?
Do you have reason to be on such an obscure street, when you and your wife live in Bramalea?

The law is only on your side if you have witnesses and aren't involved in questionable activity. Everyone seems to think the law protects them in all cases.

Just the fact I know people are usually filming the action on the street, is enough for me to stay away completely.

Plus all the girls that work out there make their round through Goodhandy's and the other bars when they are open.

The only reason I can really see to go out there is to get and extra thrill and save $20. With the price of gas using your car will cost you that $20 I think.

You have to be kidding? Just driving around?

"Ahhh.....officer, i'm from outta town and got lost....Toronto is such a huge city."

Or.......i was coming from the danforth (where-ever) and took this shortcut as i'm heading to a gay bar on maitland and Church.

As for your other points, i agree.
