I'd like to think that positive thinking reenforces positive action. Like instead of destroying one's own life, taking steps to match a FEMALE brain to an XY body is OK!
XY = guy; yes, Paco, on that note you're right. But you have not taken into account that most Tgrrls have XX mapped brains, and XX mapped hormones.
I'd like to think alot of the grrls here made a choice to save their lives rather than made a choice to be gay guys pretending to be women. After all, it is the psychiatrist/psychologist trained in Gender Identity Disorder and Harry Benjamin's Standards of Care who confirms that while the person is XY ( or in FTM, XX ) in their main genetics, there is an XX reaction sometime IN UTERO. I have a theory of the "how", but no scientific data to back it; the Dr.s are no farther either. We know that this is about a female brain in a male's body because MRI's say the brain is female and again because a Transsexual's hormone levels for their body's genetic make up are *higher* than the maximum for that genetic make up has. FTM; higher estrogen than a woman's max, MTF; higher testosterone than a man's maximum.
I cried at the birth of my friend's daughter, I cried when she was taken away because they were hooked on Crack *and* I cried at the birth for myself; because I will *NEVER* have a child by birth. I *have* two children I love *very much* but I would like to have had another with someone I love and want to share the rest of my life with.
I am happy I don't feel like I have a secret anymore. I am happy I feel natural in my own skin. And I am happy my body has adopted a *healthy* weight because of starting hormones!
