  • Hotels near Goodhandy's

Hi everyone, I've been away for a while but am now back and have cause to celebrate, as it were. Can anyone recommend a reasonable hotel as close to goodhandy's as possible, preferably one that wouldn't mind some in and out traffic at various times throughout the evening? What I've found are The Grand, The Comfort Suites, and the Quality Hotel/Holiday Inn Express.

    Any suggestions?

Thanks, Lisa, but I've heard the Delta is fairly secure and doesn't take kindly to that sort of traffice (it is also a bit outside the desired area).

If you want a good hotel for a cheap price, look on hotwire.com and choose any 4-5 star hotel that is around $100 or less. They are all good, I have never had a problem bringing tgirls into any hotel in Toronto.
(I have never stayed at the Delta however)

Not sure why you have to stay right beside Goodhandys?
Most of the hotels downtown are within 10-15 blocks of there, why limit yourself to such a shitty neighbourhood? At worst spend $6 on a cab to get back to a good hotel.
Grand Hotel - very expensive but nice.
Comfort - ok but overpriced compared to what you can get on hotwire.
Quality - So/so but overpriced compared to what you can get on hotwire.
Holiday Inn Express - I would recommend staying here over the other 3 anyway. It is fairly new and has free breakfast and internet included.
Plus all the rooms have fridges and microwaves, and it is only 2 blocks from Goodhandy's.

The Novotel on Esplanade is maybe 8 blocks south of Goodhandy's.
It usually shows up as the only 3.5 star hotel on hotwire.com.

I would say i have stayed in almost every hotel in Toronto above 3.5 stars except for the Four Seasons but I am pretty sure it is off the hook.

Nothing new here, I'm just adding that Comfort Suites has been without problems for me, even into the early morning hours. Rates are reasonable too.

Marriot Courtyard, I think you mean.
Some tgirl said she got kicked out of there for working.

Over priced and small rooms I think.

The Grand is really nice, and seems pretty laid back about people coming and going at all hours. I've stayed there with friends in the past, and we came and went at all hours of the night/morning, and there were definitly working girls coming and going also. Plus very nice rooms, and free breakfast.

The Grand used to be RCMP headquarters before it was made into a hotel.
