Greyhound response to attack

This ad is proof of one of Greyhound's ads that the bus company recently pulled. The company made the move in response to the gruesome beheading murder on an eastbound Greyhound bus near Portage la Prairie, Man., which claimed the life of 22-year-old Tim McLean July 30, 2008.

There is a church from Kansas...westburough or something like that...that is coming to Manitoba to protest at Tim McClean's funeral. They are here to say his beheading was God's punishment for liberal Canadian laws that allow abortion and homosexuality. A person from this church was on CBC yesterday ranting about Canada not having freedom of religion and that we should all believe in the bible literally.

Fucking Crazy!! They have given me another reason not to believe.

I hope the RCMP pepper spray them then taser them for about half an hour before kicking their asses and sending them packing. That's what my "god" would want.

The bible at some point says "Man should not like down with another Man, the same way he lies with a Woman" I think that is the only passage that they use against homosexuality.

I thought it was horrible both for calgary and for winnipeg. It was made much worse by media and zealots.

It's like the hype over almost all the movies out there. ... unless they're an indie .... no, not like Blair Witch Project indie either .....

I think it was a good move to pull the campaign by Greyhound. I knew one was in the works and then Tim McLean? I thought it would have been even more tasteful if they had just dropped the campaign without saying anything to the media.

I think it is some where in the New Testament in the King James bible. Personally I think that translation was to further the king's political agenda, what ever that might entail.

I would pull it out... but it makes a nice book end in my cabinet.
